We traveled to San Antonio for vacation and had a very pleasant stay. My kids enjoyed the outdoor pool and 24 hour snack shop. The rooms are larger than other hotels we have stayed in which was a plus. The fitness center was a great way to start my day along with the wonderful breakfast. We will definately be back.

Although I was not traveling with my dog, I noticed several pets staying here. There is plenty of room to walk your dog and a pet friendly hotel is always a plus.

The hotel is over ten years old so it's not the typical, modern Comfort Suites. Although the room was recently renovated, it was still worn and obviously an older hotel. The refrigerator in my room was unplugged so I doubt this hotel ever sells out.

The breakfast was good but the breakfast area was dirty. I saw a few guests asking the staff to wipe their table and when I put my bill down, I ended up with several grease stains on it. However my room was clean.

The business center does not have a working printer. If you want to print something, you have to save it to a thumb drive or email it to a staff member so they can print it on their computer. Since there is a Kinko's a few miles away, I decided to use their computer and printer instead despite the costs.

The only negatives were that I also had billing issues. Although I filled out the tax exempt form, I was still charged taxes and when I told the front desk clerk, she was rude and slow when correcting my bill. The front desk also did not have $2 in change for the laundry but $2 for the washer and dryer is cheap compared to the $4.50 that I paid at another Comfort Suites in San Antonio.

I would stay here again since it is safe but I prefer a few other hotels in San Antonio.

Granted, the rooms are large, which is a nice plus, but the breakfast was very plain with no variety from day to day. I had to change rooms three times and finally ended up in room 318. I specifically had asked not to have an adjoining door and was assured the second room I was given didn't have an adjoining door, but was given a handicapped room first, then another room with an adjoining door. Finally was given 318 after being assured it was far from the elevator and ice machine so it would be very quiet ~ ended up it was right across from the elevator. Clearly the check-in person did not understand his job.

When I checked out, the clerk said that the hotel had just had a major renovation completed two months ago, but in my room the wallpaper was coming off the wall, the large bathroom tile when you enter the bathroom was cracked throughout, the toilet was stained and dirty. It reminded me much more of an old Motel 6 than a suite hotel for which I paid as much as if I had stayed at a nice hotel. It did have a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. Definitely would not recommend this property.

I spend about 80 nights per year in hotels. I am gold level with Hilton and Choice and Platinum with Holiday Inn.

This location served my needs:
clean, comfortable, courteous and caring!
The location is close to the airport and the shuttle is convenient.
The shuttle will also take you anywhere in a 5 mile radius. There are restaurants nearby but the breakfast was good.
The staff aim to please and this is refreshing. The hotel sits back a bit from the road, so it is quiet. Everything was comfortable and clean! Thanks!
