We stayed overnight in a suite (two bedrooms and shared living room) at Residence Inn. The hotel is close to the Riverwalk, to the theater (where we saw Les Miserables). The building is huge (top floors was renovated). As always, in Residence Inn, the rooms are well equipped, not luxurious though. What we did not like, was the price, and especially the extra $22 charge for parking (for residents or non-residents). In the morning we had breakfast (nice waffles, bad coffee, limited selection of yoghurts), It is puzzling why all Marriotts in the USA have bad coffee, in contrast to Europe, where you can have espresso, and drinkable coffee. They had bananas, but no strawberries or raspberries for breakfast.
A good place to spend a night or two.
