The people were nice, the place is old but my room was clean. bed wasnt so comfortable . the tv was about a 19 inch if that. I left a message with the front desk asking for 2 more pillows never got them...i guess i could have called back or gone down to front desk but never did.. It was 20 min walk into salem village. A 20 min walk isnt so bad seeing u spend the whole time walking around to the sites anyway but the 1st 10 min from the hotel its not a pleasant walk. i was a bit nervous at 11 pm. and i was with my 6'2" BF and still was nervous. During the day its fine. We decided to call a cab which put us on hold for so long we hung up and walked . After the 1st day we decided to drive into town every day we did get lucky and get a parking spot on the street .It would have been much nicer to stay in town but like i said it was 2x the amount. I recomend the trolley tour. but do it 1st thing in the morning as its also a all day on and off thing so ull get ur money worth and able to use it all day but take the hour tour initially. Also go to Reds sandwitch shop we went every day for breakfast . What great food and nice people ( only order one pancake they are the size of your head) lol i know i got off the subject of the motel sorry . but basically it is what it is.....
