“Good for the money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 June 2011

person found this review helpful

I booked this hotel via hotels.com at $45 (including tax and service charge). It's a good value for the money. This hotel has clean outdoor swimming pool and spa. Room is clean with microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast is so-so.

I think the best part of this hotel is its location. It is near major attractions, i.e. Saguaro National Park, San Xavier, Pima Air Museum, etc.

“I was robbed and received no motel support!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 February 2011

Sometime between 9:30PM and 7:30AM my passenger car window was broken into and a couple of bags were stolen. When the police came for me to report the theft there was no assistance the motel would offer. They have no security, no active monitoring and not even passive video cameras with recordings to review. Worse still, I had to wait for the mobile glass repair company to arrive but the manager would not allow me a late check-out and showed no flexibility. This was INCREDIBLY insensitive of them. I was robbed on their premises, under their watch, as a paying customer. Their attitude was completely unhelpful. Their sympathy was non-existent. Their actions were insulting.

Admittedly, I'm writing this review partly to vent my frustration at their attitude.
However, I did wait almost a month so that I wouldn't still be steaming.
This is a mild version of what I might otherwise have written.

Consider this a warning...especially in hard economic times when there's more crime.

As for the room, motel, location, etc. I can't say I was displeased.

It's management attitude and safety which are my issues.

“STAY AWAY BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 August 2010

Place seemed clean staff ok just stayed one night business trip. It was close to my work.
After checking out a day later I started getting spots on my skin. Did some research and found out what I was experiencing was bed bug bites. Called hotel to let them no. The hotel became very unhelpful. Wanted to speak to manger but not there. 2 days later still
no respones. After talking to the clerk it was apparent that this wasn't the complaint about bug bites. Very angry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
