“A bit of a drive from downtown, but a very good hotel.”

Last year I stayed at this property (hotwire $104 a night). I had an awesome "upgraded" room, with a private patio, large bathroom, and complimentary light breakfast served to my room every morning. Plus, they pressed 2 articles of clothing daily. It was an oasis. So, when I booked on hotwire again, I was hoping that I would get this property. I got lucky, but not so on price ($162 per night). It was certainly a lot cheaper than their website. When I arrived at the property, staff was friendly. The place is clean, that's for sure. However, because I booked on hotwire, according to the desk agent, I would be subjected to a room that had not been updated since the early 80's. I was disappointed. To further this, I did not get ANY of the extras that I got the previous year. In all, the room was clean. It did not have a safe, so I had one delivered. What 4 star property doesn't have a safe in the room? The heat worked well, the fixtures functioned. There was a random switch on the wall that turned nothing on or off. It was a bit archaeic. There was no desk, no place to plug in an iphone, no place to really work. Last year I was happy. This year I am not. It is likely that I will not hope to stay here again.

The Omni Tucson National is one of the nicest hotels/resorts in Tucson. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. Lovely rooms. It is very clean. The staff is warm/welcoming and the service is very good.

“The Best Resort in Tucson”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

The Omni Tucson is a beautiful resort full of really helpful people. All the the staff, from the bell-hop, the reception people, housekeeping and hotel engineers were especially friendly and helpful. Over the last 8 years my daughter and I have visited most of the resorts in Tucson and have enjoyed all of them. However the Omni resort is by far the best resort in Tucson! The rooms are large, clean and well kept. I am staying in one of the hacienda rooms next to the golf course. I have a large kitchen, large bathroom, large living room with a fireplace and a large bedroom with a walk in closet. There are 2 pools, one closer to the main hotel and another closer to the haciendas and tennis courts. The pools are beautiful and quite. I love this resort so much that we have reserved rooms to come here again.

“Had a Nice Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

We frequent this resort often and have enjoyed our stay every time. However, we did run into a small problem with very slow service at the bar and grill one evening. I understand that these happen from time to time but it was still disappointing that it happened at all. We prefer the rooms near the main pool and the resort itself since they've been renovated more recently than their Hacienda rooms which are more like cottages located on the outskirts of the property.
