Last year I stayed at this property (hotwire $104 a night). I had an awesome "upgraded" room, with a private patio, large bathroom, and complimentary light breakfast served to my room every morning. Plus, they pressed 2 articles of clothing daily. It was an oasis. So, when I booked on hotwire again, I was hoping that I would get this property. I got lucky, but not so on price ($162 per night). It was certainly a lot cheaper than their website. When I arrived at the property, staff was friendly. The place is clean, that's for sure. However, because I booked on hotwire, according to the desk agent, I would be subjected to a room that had not been updated since the early 80's. I was disappointed. To further this, I did not get ANY of the extras that I got the previous year. In all, the room was clean. It did not have a safe, so I had one delivered. What 4 star property doesn't have a safe in the room? The heat worked well, the fixtures functioned. There was a random switch on the wall that turned nothing on or off. It was a bit archaeic. There was no desk, no place to plug in an iphone, no place to really work. Last year I was happy. This year I am not. It is likely that I will not hope to stay here again.
