The majority of these other reviews are kind of perplexing. People write about a Ramada like they were expecting a Four Seasons. If you're looking for a place to crash for the night while you are in Tucson for a really great value, then this is a prefect hotel. Don't book a room here if you plan on spending a lot of time at the hotel.

This is definitely for the traveler that has people to see and places to go in Tucson - not for someone who is looking for a resort-style vacation with plans to lounge by the pool during the day. Yes, the room was kind of smelly and slightly nauseating, but in all honesty, So What? Who Cares? It's a place to crash for the night. Don't book here if you are expecting a great stay. Book here if you want great value for your money, a pretty comfy bed, and great location.

My room in this motel was filthy!!!!!!!!!!! The plastic number guide on the phone looked like someone threw up on it or spilled something on it, hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long! There was built up grease substance on top of the holder of the hair dryer as well as the top of the hair dryer itself. Obviously hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. There were greasy fingerprints on the inside of the door of room and soiled dirt up and down the door, again hadn't been wiped down in a very long time. There were long black hairs in the bathtub and on the pillows !!!!!!!!!!!!! The room odor was so bad I made a trip to Walgreen's for room deoderizer and used a whole large can but to no avail, even with windows open!!!! I slept in my clothes and socks and put my house coat on the pillow as I did not want to touch their sheets. What with the hairs on the pillows, I was not even sure they had washed the sheets!!!!!!!! I had booked the room with hotels.com for 3 nights but only stayed the one night, and only did that because I was so tired from driving 12 hours!! I spent the next two nights at my son's sleeping on his couch. Complaining to hotels.com is like complaining to a wall !!!!!!!!!!! In my opinon, all they are interested in is the money and do not really check out the motels before they have them on their site. Ramada needs to put a picture on this site of what the motel REALLY looks like. Their picture looks so glamorous and to me looks NOTHING like the motel in reality !!! So, I feel I was deceived by Ramada and hotels.com. I will NEVER stay at a Ramada nor will book at hotels.com ever again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guests were running up and down the sidewalk in front of my room until 2-3 o'clock in the morning!

Carpets stained, chair seats stained, room musty, nicks in walls, tub faucets loose, towels thin, loud traffic and guest noises. Other than that, it was a fine place to stay for 3 long days.

Stayed at this hotel in August 2010. Called a few days before arrival to find that there was no record of reservation. Manager was very accommodating. Upon arrival there is only stairs to second floor rooms. Room carpet was very dirty. Bathroom had mildew. For the price it was okay. Made a reservation to stay in October 2010. Upon arrival they could not find my reservation again. Had rooms available and gave me rate I had arranged prior. Carpet was again very dirty. Door deadbolt did not work without great effort. Found other hotels in area that price is not substantially more and the accommodations are cleaner. I had my pet with me and the room "smells" affected her temperment and allergies. The room smell was not offensive to me but asked for non-smoking and room below and next door were smoking rooms. This room had a vague smell of being a smoking room also. I sent an email to corporate offices regarding experience for both hotel stays and have had no response to date. Not good customer service.
