“Decent place with some good perks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

While this hotel is old, it is clear they have tried to make some updates - new countertops and sinks in the bathroom/wet bars, nice linens/beds, and rounded shower curtains - and it was very clean. The furniture in the suite is getting dated, but still fine. The walls are solid block, so we did not hear a peep through the walls, just some noise through the doors but we were up early so it didn't really matter. As for the staff, they were awesome - they opened breakfast early so our team/families could eat before heading off for a game and the managers reception was a great place for us all to get together and have free drinks in the evening. The extras of a warm, plentiful breakfast (pretty much anything you could want) and the free manager's reception make up for staying in an older building. And plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well. We will stay here again when we travel to Tucson for tournaments for sure.

Room Tip: Ask to be away from the pool and on second floor if you want more peace and quiet.

“Our stay was excellent, no "snaggle-brained" complaints here!”

My wife & I stayed here for two nights during Thanksgiving week. Our suite that faced the pool was large, spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with lots of traditional breakfast "hot" items including made-to-order omlets, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash-browns, and home-made salsa. As a "Southern Boy" I would suggest that they add grits, plus biscuits & gravy to make it perfect! The check-in staff was attentive & courteous. Plenty of convenient parking near the rear entrance. My only complaint was the additional $10.00/day internet access charge.

“Massively Disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2011

This Embassy Suites is an old motel converted into suites. Outside entries into the rooms, noisy pool play you can hear late into the evening, a tiny tiny bathroom with no sink in the bath area, and old and uncomfortable worn furniture. Yes, the suites are very large, but not sure the trade off is worth it. This "motel" Is not worth the money and not worthy of the Embassy Suites brand.

“Nice place”

The rooms were clean and cozy the beds were soft and comfortable. It was easy to fall asleep. At night there are no loud disturbing noises so you can sleep. I always recommend to friends and family who are coming into town on a budget. A perfect location with many food choices around it. I usually don't write a review good or bad but I hope you like.

“Best Hotel Experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2011

After reading all these reviews i wasnt to sure to give this hotel a try but i did anyways and it was a great experience. Excellent front desk staff, they're very attentive, the guy that checked me in (a young supervisor i forgot his name unfortunately but had some sort of arabic name) was very very helpful and good with directions. Housekeepers are very good at what they do, and i really enjoyed the Breakfast and happy hour! :) Two thumbs up!

Room Tip: Higher floor facing the courtyard is the best location, at least it was for me!
