I was completely surprised by the hotel, it was not even close to what it seemed to be online or in the mixed reviews.
1) the area it is in is very run down, safety is a question at night..
2) the hotel is "under construction", I think an excuse for the open ceiling panels, hanging wires, caution taped stairways to upstairs.... no ice machine, etc etc the list goes on.
3) the 'breakfast' looked as if it had been sitting out for a few weeks as a layer of dust/dirt covered everything.
4) a security guard roams the parking lot, a good sign your car will be safe, but what if he wasn't there?
5) we slept in our clothes for fear of what was on/under the covers...
6) our room did not have a room number
Overall the place is very rundown, note it is two separate buildings, one in front, one out back. It honestly could be used for a scary movie... empty dark, the taped off stairs that lead to the dark upstairs hallway just topped it off for us.
You'd be better off staying at the flamingo, econolodge nearby. Motel six would be 50 times better.
