“Not that bad...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2011 via mobile

Coming from CA my family and I were super sleepy and ready to rent a room (usually we swap and drive non stop to Tx),we called for rates on 2 bed non smoking for 2 adults and children.the price of $43 and change showed that with my budget it beat the others. Parking isn't bad,75% fenced with barb wire.once we checked in we were 2 exhausted 2 be a critic.Mother always said to remove the comforters asmost hotels may not change them.check! We tried 2 charge our cell phones but the room wall sockets were a bit loose.heater worked fine.Bathroom light was broken cuz the only switch in there I saw was 2 turn out the fan,so I had 2 crack the door and use the light from entrance.there was plently of towels but we didn't plan on using it being that we were passing thru.this place needs updating indeed, must be at least 30+ yrs old with all original carpet and furniture. However if you need an affordable place this is it.breakfast IS there but it consists of fruit loops, rice crispies, kellogs served into disposable bowls, strawberry muffins, coffee, apple juice and oj. You can't complain. If your planning on more then 1 night and are very particular try a newer establishment such as the marriot.

“Do not stay here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2010

Do not stay here- the customer service is very rude, when you pay, they do not keep track how long you paif for and make sure you get a receipt, otherwise, they will kick you out. They do not clean here daily, but just whenever they think is convenient (every 2 or 3 days), do not ask them for extra stuff-like changing sheets or toilet paper-they think it is too much. Stay away from certain family members that run the hotel-they are RUDE TO THE POINT OF PRISONER CUSTOMER SERVICE. Seriously very dirty room, smells like POOP mixed with urine, mixed with sperm, everything is dirty and smelly, seedy area. Also-do not pay for nights ahead of time-they change and lower their prices all the time and will not give you money back. If I didnt make it clear-STAY AWAY FROM HERE. YOU WILL REGRET COMING HERE. IT WILL RUIN YOUR TRIP TO TUCSON. PS-HAD AN OLD PORNO MAGAZINE IN THE ROOM WHEN I CAME IN .DISGUSTING!!!!

“Cheap, with good reason.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 June 2010

This was my least favourite hotel on our Spring Break family road trip. We changed to a Ramada Inn across town for our 2nd night in Tucson.

The price looked cheap enough, and it was on the side of Tucson closest to where we wanted to be (we were going to the Sonoran Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park). I can't altogether complain, since it was a "you get what you pay for" kind of scenario.

The beds were HARD. Way too hard. I felt like I was sleeping on slats. Breakfast was pretty much a sugary muffin and some coffee and juice on the side of the lobby (with a loud cell phone conversation near the lobby computer... perhaps the only WiFi spot... the whole time).

“No frills but a clean room in a great location for a reasonable price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 June 2010

My mother and I stayed here two nights while sightseeing in Tucson. It is a great location near the highway and near sites. The room was nice and clean. The room air conditioner worked very well, and there was a refrig and microwave in the room. Free wi-fi and parking. There is room for improvement in the variety of items offered for the continental breakfast and replenishment of items. I would stay here again.

“We used sleeping bags on the bed...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 April 2010

Dirty. Our room smells like someone defecated under the bed. The sheets have stains of an unidentifiable nature. We used sleeping bags on the bed instead of sleeping under the sheets. I wiped off the toilet seat when I went to the bathroom. The room keycard stopped working. The location is pretty decent, close to downtown. I'd stay at the HoJo next door or at the American Best Value Inn over this rathole.
