We stayed for 3 nights recently, had a 3rd floor king non-smoking. Got it on Priceline so didn't really choose it, but didn't pay a lot either. However, as my husband said, I've stayed in a lot worse for a lot more. Beds are better than average but the blankets are for hotels in Alaska! The room is attractive but dated. The most negative thing is the bathroom is unbelievably small with almost no counter space....probably o.k. for one, but for us, we had to take everything we needed out of our travel kits and then pack it away again each day. We did appreciate having the refrigerator.
Planned to go to one of our favorite restaurants the first night but just couldn't roust ourselves to leave again so ate in the restaurant here. Had the fish tacos and they were far better than average and their special $12 margarita was one of the best I've had...definitely worth the $$. Service was great there too. The restaurant is located at the back of the outdoor pool courtyard and there was a combo playing in the open party room adjacent...lovely jazz. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing time.
All in all, the goods outweighed the bads.....good service, lovely courtyard, comfy beds and needs an update.
