We stayed at Armory Park B&B in Tucson last week. We had delightful accomodations in the New Mexico suite. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Now for the best part! The living room opens into a magical courtyard filled with grapefruit, lemon, and orange trees. There is a koi pond with fish that we fed every morning. Also, a hot tub is available for your use. Every morning we walked over to the kitchen where we found a large bowl of the freshest fruit salad, warm homemade scones or muffins (I had to get the recipe), cereal, yogurt, juice, teas and coffee. The part we liked the most was loading our trays with all the delicious goodies and heading back (a short stroll) to the table and chairs by the koi pond which was right outside our guesthouse. It was a relaxing and beautiful way for my husband and I to start the day. A cozy breakfast by ourselves while basking in the warmth and beauty of the picturesque courtyard. Our hosts couldn't have been nicer. Jim attended to our every comfort and took us on a fascinating tour of their beautiful home. We have never experienced more cordial and caring hosts. We are going to return in November and we can't wait! Now if I can only replicate those scones until we eat the originals again:)
