The Biltmore is not your usual cookie-cutter hotel, from its historic grandeur and pedigree to the superb staff and services. I regularly stay in luxury hotels around the world, most of which lack the personality and charm of the Biltmore, in which I find the attentive Biltmore staff on a par with all of them. There is a strong culture of service at this hotel. Considering the in-house access to a world-class spa, Starbucks and a perfectly fine restaurant (McCormick and Schmicks), the Biltmore is an exceptional hotel for any city but particularly one the size of Providence. In contrast to high-gloss, psuedo interiors of newer hotels, the Biltmore's storied architecture and heritage make it a true breath of fresh air--a real treat. As a result I consistently choose to stay at this hotel 7-8 days each month when I am in Providence on business. And....the fact that they are a pet-friendly hotel makes it all the better.
Room Tip: Choose a room with a view out over the charming park in Kennedy Plaza with it's fountain and win...
