“All King Rooms are across from the elevator bank.”

Asked for a quiet room with my reservation. However I ended up with a room directly across from the elevators. When I called to see if I could switch rooms the woman at the front desk told me that all the rooms in this price range (traditional king) were across from the elevators. So I've been hearing beeping all night. I've actually never written a negative review before in all my traveling but this is incredibly annoying. The room is pretty run down and small also. I wouldn't stay here again.

“Enjoyable stay at the Providence Biltmore”

It was the location, reputation and price that made our selection of the Providence Biltmore. Attentive staff, comfortable rooms and great location in downtown Providence. We plan to return again.

“DONT GO THERE!”

I went to this hotel for the location and for the reputation it had from when I used to live there. Well, the lobby looked great, valet parking, good location in downtown. They give a good deal in the rooms because they charge $26.00 for parking. I wouldn't have cared if the rooms were up to date. The rooms are old, the hallways smell old and funny....When we got to our room the bed linens are old, the wallpaper is coming out and the walls were cracked. Too bad, this is the Biltmore in Providence, a classic. Will never go back! I usually don't write reviews but this one I had to!

“A gem of a hotel!”

The Biltmore is not your usual cookie-cutter hotel, from its historic grandeur and pedigree to the superb staff and services. I regularly stay in luxury hotels around the world, most of which lack the personality and charm of the Biltmore, in which I find the attentive Biltmore staff on a par with all of them. There is a strong culture of service at this hotel. Considering the in-house access to a world-class spa, Starbucks and a perfectly fine restaurant (McCormick and Schmicks), the Biltmore is an exceptional hotel for any city but particularly one the size of Providence. In contrast to high-gloss, psuedo interiors of newer hotels, the Biltmore's storied architecture and heritage make it a true breath of fresh air--a real treat. As a result I consistently choose to stay at this hotel 7-8 days each month when I am in Providence on business. And....the fact that they are a pet-friendly hotel makes it all the better.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a view out over the charming park in Kennedy Plaza with it's fountain and win...

“Just OK. Getting Very tired”

Stayed in a 2 King suite. It was roomy, but it needs lots of work. The price was right. I guess you can say you get what you pay for. The price was not a 4 star price so you cannot expect a 4 start hotel. The front desk was very very helpful and pleasant. McCormick and Schmicks is over priced. Get out and enjoy other restaurants, especially Capital Grill. Beds, I have to say were the most comfortable hotel bed ever!
