Good location. Typical Marriott room. Clean. Double beds, NOT queens which is annoying when you are paying this much. Room was not ready when we checked in 3pm. We asked the front desk to make a reservation for a late dinner (9pm) at their seafood restaurant, Blue Fin. We arrived later, got into our room, and went down for dinner and was told there would be a substantial wait even though the restaurant was not even half full. When I inquired about my reservation, I was told I didn't have one, however they would see what they could do. Went to the bar where I found the bartenders to be slow and indifferent. Waited 15 minutes for a drink even though there were two bartenders and not a big crowd. Finally got into the restaurant which smelled like rotten fish (ok, its a fish joint, but the smell was overpowering). Wait staff was slow and the food edible but nothing special. And yes, this property seems to be a haven for hosting large groups of youth teams. We left at 7am and there were kids in the pool, elevators full of dancers, and a lobby full of cheerleaders. Not sure how youth groups pay the hefty price of this hotel, but perhaps the group discount is a LOT better than the regular rate.
