“Very nice place for families”

We went to Estes Park during off-season. This hotel, which used to be a Holiday Inn, offered a BOGO deal - first night regular price, second night 75% off - which you can only get if you call them directly. They have a huge indoor pool and a nice, 10-person hot tub. In the same area, there are pool tables and foosball. There's a nice fitness center too. It's now a Forever Resort - recycling bins in each room and other eco-friendly touches. The room was very clean, the bed was perfection, Wolfgang Puck coffee provided.Toiletries were luxurious. Nice 32 inch flat screen and a big choice of cable stations. The staff was very kind and helpful in many ways. Close to downtown, across from the fairgrounds where Estes hosts lots of events throughout the year. The Estes Park Conference center is attached to the hotel.

The only negative we experienced is that the kitchen was undergoing some work, so the dinner menu was limited and we were served on sturdy paper plates. The breakfast buffet, including omeletes, was very good though. The work should be done within a week or so.

We will definitely return at least once more this winter or early spring.

Room Tip: Rooms on 1st/2nd floor in main building by the pool will be noisy, and I could smell chlorine in the...

“A decent place to stay.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

A very good location for easy of getting around town let alone going to RMNP. Check in was smooth and easy and we asked about restuarants and she was very helpful. Gave us maps and suggestions. The building is probably 1970's Holiday Innish but VERY secure.
You could easily see the building is dated but they've kept up with the times quite well I thought. Electric banister heat ( we were here in January) which was kind of noisy but most are. Toiletries were very good and shower worked great. Nice hot tub and pool area. We didn't eat at the cafe because they had construction. Nice king bed but only had really small pillows.

Room Tip: Rooms facing East have a better view.

“Just an overnight stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

We just needed a place to stay overnight, so I just picked this hotel off the internet. However, it was a really nice place. Great, easy location. Rooms were very nice and the toiletries were excellent quality. The coffee shop served a very good buffet for breakfast at a reasonable price. There was a large indoor pool that we didn't use, but looked very inviting. We'd definitely stay there again.

“Okay place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

When we arrived, there was no one at the desk. We waited over 10 minutes to get help to get checked in. The rooms were nice enough. The beds were very comfortable. I had a hard time getting the heat set right so that the room wasn't too warm or too cold. We stayed two nights and never did get it right. The hallways were pretty chilly, too.

Hello:

Thank you for your feedback. We certainly regret your wait at the front desk as we're proud to be one of a few hotels in Estes that offer a 24/7 front desk. Your wait has been addressed to prevent future issues. I'm glad you enjoyed our new beds and hope our 1pm winter checkout and great pricing presented a terrific value to you.

Thank you

“Kid friendly, great pool, great location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2011

We just stayed for two nights at the Rocky Mountain Park Inn and we thought the place was great for what we were looking for. We were traveling with two children and they loved the pool area! Huge pool and hot tub which they would have stayed in all day and night. We had a poolside room which had a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the pool. At night, the pool area was a bit loud because we were overlooking it, but that is to be expected. The area quieted down for sleeping and the kids loved being able to see the area and the pool. Compared to many of the other motels in the area, we were very pleased with the hotel. We like the interior corridors as it was cold and windy outside. We ate one dinner meal at the hotel restaurant and it was fine. The menu was a bit limited, maybe because it was off season. The staff was very friendly at the hotel and we would definitely stay again. We liked the proximity to the downtown area, access to computer/printer in the lobby, free coffee in the lobby in the morning, soda and ice machines throughout the building, and the entire pool/hot tub area. We enjoyed our stay and already are making plans to revisit the area!

Hello:

Thank you for your very kind review! We're pleased to offer Estes Park's largest and deepest year-round pool and new hot tub open daily 6am-12am in the winter. Having all of our amenites "under one roof" ensures a great stay despite what Mother Nature might be offering!

Thank you and we hope to see you again!
