Misty Mountain is a Great place to stay. The Family that runs it are very friendly and helpful. What ever is needed they have for you. We picked this resort due to price and location and we have been back many times for those same reasons and because of the familiy oriented atmosphere. Smores in the evening were great. Very peaceful and quiet resort.

This place was amazing!! The family that operates the lodge are friendly and helpful. The room itself was great, it was fully equipped with everything we needed. We stayed here for almost a week and I was very sad when I had to say goodbye!! We even came in one day to find a cow elk in the front yard! We will defiantly be staying here again! And don't forget to buy firewood, from the little boy. He is super sweet and his parents let him run his own little firewood business right there at the lodge! He delivers the wood in perfect bundles to your room with a big smile on his face and he gets you set up with some matches and some firestarter too!! SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND RIGHT IN THE HEART OF ESTES PARK!!!!

Picked because of the price and will return because of beauty and service. This is a great place.

We enjoyed the 3 days we spent at Misty Mountain Lodge in September. The facility was very comfortable and clean. And the hosts (Peter and Ellen) were phenomenal. Make sure to ask for a special smore made with tiger butter :-)
