My family stayed at Bear Paw Suites in July. We had a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite. The room was clean when we checked in. The staff was very friendly. The location is great and the river running through the property is lovely.

We found the beds to be very comfortable, the unit we stayed in was well appointed. The showers were very good.

When we stayed at the property the outdoor temperature was around 85 degrees. In the evenings and during the night the temperature drops to the low 50's.

The units are not air conditioned and because it gets cool at night you really don't need it for the first floor bedroom. However, we found that the airflow in the upstairs bedroom was not quite as good (there is only one window in the room). Although there was a fan in the room, the kids complained that it was warm. Another thing we noted in the upstairs bedroom, which may not impact most visitors is that there are two skylights in the bedroom. I believe there were blinds of some sorts on the skylights, but the morning sunshine tended to wake our little ones a bit earlier than we would have preferred.

Overall, the location of Bear Paws is awesome and we found the condo to be suitable for our needs. I would stay there again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in March - Bear Paw #5. It is very nice, we really enjoyed the stream running through the back of the property. Management was very nice and it is a great location in regards to RMN Park. The only complaint I would have would be your room really doesn't get cleaned while there. Houskeeping will come in and make the beds, take the trash out and that is about it. I would have appreciated some cleaning in the bathrooms, vacuuming and sweeping to be done throughout our stay. Otherwise, if this won't bother you I would highly recommend this resort.

If you compare on price alone, Bear Paw seems a bit higher than the rest. But the beauty of the grounds and the interior amenities were definitely the best we've seen in Estes. We come back to Estes every year, and have stayed at a number of other properties. The interior of the condos are very well maintained and feel clean and new inside. We stayed in the 2 bed/2 bath unit and liked the fact there was not someone above or below us like other condo complexes in the area.

We will definitely return to Bear Paw. Remember to look into the AAA discount. It makes the nightly rate comparable to many of the other places on Fall River Drive.

It was really relaxing and comfortable. The decor is outstanding with comfortable furniture, washer/dryer, full kitchen, WiFi and all the rest. Didn't know we'd get so much in the little town of Estes Park. Loved meeting the new owners who are really hands-on and attentive. Wouldn't care which unit as they are all so very special. We'll definitely go back.
