“Christmas time at The Woodlands, greatness...”

We rented two condos at The Woodlands on December 16-19 and highly recommend staying here. Rarely do I find a place this clean. Betsy the manager was so sweet. We missed the turkeys that cross the bridge on property every day but it wasn't from lack of trying. We traveled with 4 adults and a 9 year old. The jetted tub was perfect after a hike near Bear Lake. Fall River was frozen and feet from the front door. We make it to Estes Park once a year and will stay here again. The Christmas lights were so inviting on the property and will make great memories for all of us.

“Totally Awesome!!.....”

We had an amazing experience in Estes Park.! First trip to Colorado for a White Christmas. ! The Woodlands property is a great value and very clean!.. Although we didn't get to meet Betsy(Manager), she left a nice note welcoming us to Woodlands. We stayed upstairs and had everything we needed, just like home.! We didn't need the heater on and it was still toasty and cozy with the fireplace. We plan to do another trip to Estes Park and would love to stay here again during the Summer...

Room Tip: I believe any room you get will be great!

“Perfect place for hiking family of 4”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2011

After much looking at reviews on Tripadvisor, we settled on staying at The Woodlands, even though our first choice of staying upstairs was not available. It turned out to be perfect for us. We hiked everyday, and so were able to make our lunches to take with us, and didn't have to spend money for breakfast. Of our three nights there, we cooked dinner once, and watched a movie that we checked out from the office, and that was very enjoyable. The location was great--just a few minutes from town, and having the stream in front of the building was lovely. It was not noisy, even though close to the road. Having the spaciousness of a 2 bedroom place was great.

Room Tip: It was fine to have a room downstairs, although I still think one upstairs might have been nicer.

“Pleasantly Surprised!”

We had an amazing anniversary get away at the Woodlands. I looked into a number of lodges and cabins in Estes and decided on the Woodlands due to its affordable price and full sized kitchen. I was a bit nervous about the quality of the room because I have stayed in many places that looked great online but were a letdown in person. The room was modern, clean, and felt very homey. The fireplace was a great bonus for our snowy night. The bed was very comfortable and the Jacuzzi tub was a plus. I look forward to returning to the Woodlands for future special occasions.

Spent another wonderful anniversary at the woodlands and once again it was awesome. Betsy (the manager) and Ron (the owner) just make you feel like family. The whole staff makes you feel this way. The units are great and very comfortable. Watching the wild turkeys and the elk
as they wander outside your door is a great experience for all ages. If you want that home away from home feeling- this is it. Great job guys!!!!

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice-for a family try and book room 17, it has everything for a family of four or...
