“The best place in Estes Park to stay”

My husband and I actually spent our honeymoon at Braeside Cabin in October of 2006 and we have been back twice a year ever since.(We live in Denver) We love Braeside Cabin and we love that we can bring our fuzzy critters with us. The cabin is on private property so there are not a lot people around and we love sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds and listening to the river. It is close to town and Rocky Mountain National Park and Patty the owner is always helpful and informative on restaurant choices and activities going on in Estes.

“Couldn't have been happier”

My boyfriend and I stayed at this cozy little cabin for just one night, and I couldn't have been happier. It is tucked away in the trees of Estes Park, and is the cutest cabin around. It was peaceful, quiet, and one of the best memories of my life. If you need a getaway with your loved one, this is the place to go!

“cozy cabin”

My husband and I stayed here on the last bit of our honeymoon to Colorado. Prior to the braeside we had been staying in hotels and it was nice to finally have a little bit of privacy. The owner is nice and lives next to this cabin so if you need anything she is right there. This would have been perfect if we had brought our 2 dogs with us. Its hard to find a decent place to stay with pets where they wont charge you an arm and a leg. The only downside is that the driveway was a bit difficult to get used to getting up... but that seems to be the way cabins are normally. We would definitly stay here again!

“Best pet friendly place in Estes Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2010

What an awesome find for pets....if you wanna bring your furry friends on vacation to the area this is the place to stay. Pets are allowed to stay in the cabin while you are away with no crating necessary if house trained. Found nothing in the area that came close to being as pet friendly. Great location near Rocky Mountain National Park in a beautiful setting. The cabin is great and met all our needs. Only downside is that Rocky Mountain National Park is not the most pet friendly so must travel a little bit for the best places to take your pet. There is an awesome lake near Longmont that has a doggy beach. The lake is clean, has a sandy beach, and shallow entry so all sizes of dogs can have fun. There is a dog area at Lake Estes...never went there, but it appeared to have a more muddy entry point rather than nice sand. Bottom line...there is not a better place to stay in the area for your pet than Braeside.

“We come back every year!”

This is a great little place to stay and has an awesome off season deal! We have stayed the past 2 years and are getting ready to make reservation for a third visit. My husband and I are able to stay here with our young son (brings his spiderman bed) and we bring our furry children as well for no extra charge. Great for tight budgets! The owner is so welcoming and friendly! You are not surrounded by a lot of people and can hear the river run while you sit on the porch of the cabin and drink hot cocoa. The driveway can be a bit treacherous, but you can park by the house if you like. The elk are so much fun to watch out of the windows too. Very close to lots of fun activities, even in the off season! Love it!
