Booked this one for the indoor pool, wanted to save a few $$ and not go to another Choice. I try to stay at Choice Hotels for there points program, I think its one of the best. Upon arrival we got an up stairs room and were never offered an upgrade as a platinum member. When I asked for a room closer to the second one I was told they were down and not being rented. We got to the room and it was in a fairly good condition and a good size. Looked at the heather/AC and all the markings were worn off. Took about 15 mins to work out what was heat. When I took a shower I noticed they had replaced the head with a multi function sunbeam, the only problem it was stuck on pulse so took forever to clean off soap. Checked the towels and found only one that did not look like it had already been used. Two had make-up on them and the rest were just grungy.. Went down and got new ones.
Decided to go to the pool. Although it was a little old and had not been drained and painted in a while it was okay for if just a little cold. No one in Albuquerque seems to warm their pools above 65..
This morning went down to breakfast.... !!!! Thats what they called it. There were 4 bits of bread, some cereral and a waffle maker. Warm coffee and thats it...
We paid $43.95 so not to bad but I would look at other Econo Lodges or the Quality in across the road is good at around $59
