All the staff members from the front desk to the shuttle were as nice as they could be and made sure my time there was the best it could be.

Great service...free shuttle to old town.. Pleasant checkin, rooms average but clean and comfortabbld beds. We are non smokers and had no issues with smoke...we had two rooms on 1st floor. The shuttle service here will take you anywhere within 5 miles of hotel, Hotel is in warehouse type area but about 1 mile to old town., Two queen bed room for $55.

The hotel is in an industrial/working part of town. We never felt totally safe outside. The 1st room we got was located in a dark hallway where 2 of the hall lights were non functional. The elevator was of industrial quality with cracked linoleum floor,carpeting in hallways and rooms worn out. The most basic cheap looking and feeling furniture in room. Very old fashioned TV.
Staff was friendly and did their best., but there are much better values in town for about the same price.

This hotel was pretty cheap and right off I-80 but I was not comfortable there - it's in an industrial area north of downtown - there were very few customers there and the lobby and all halls were quite smokey. When we got there, we saw only a couple of customer cars - after dinner at 8:30 it was about the same. There were a few more when we left this morning but it was quite empty.

It has a big sign up against the freeway with a neon sign showing the nightly rate - which last night was $59.99. We paid $5 less as AARP.


We were given a room on the third floor (out of four floors) way in the back next to the freeway off ramp - it was quite noisy - I asked for another room - was given one on the second floor looking out over the roof of the front door - it was littered with debris and a bent up/broken screen. The first room had torn furniture - this room was threadbare but not torn. The room was quite large but barely furnished and the furniture was knicked and worn. This morning the smell of cigarette smoke in the halls was overwhelming.

The "no smoking" designation had been ripped off our door and most of them on the hall.

Just something off here - we vowed to avoid Quality Inns after this one - the standard of quality varies too much. What was amazing to me was that it was showing one star AAA rating - I don't think it should have had even that.

But it is an economical place to stay.

The bathroom was very small but clean. The bed was ok. I was decidedly uncomfortable about my personal safety and the safety of the car which had a lot of stuff in it for Christmas.

It all worked out - the desk clerks were helpful.
