We stopped in Albuquerque after spending our second 14+ hour day of driving on our trip to California, and needless to say, we were ready for a break. This hotel isn't very aesthetically-pleasing. The handle of the toilet in our room wasn't positioned to where you could flush it, and everything in the bathroom was peeling apart. The carpet needed a good cleaning, the wallpaper and decor of the room was dated and lacking, but we both agree that the bed was very comfortable. The Quality Inns are supposed to be nicer hotels, but we found that it didn't stack up to it's brand name. The price was pretty steep for what we got. The hotel was pet-friendly, which worked well for our furry backseat driver.

After reading some of the other reviews I was a little unsure of whether or not to stay here. The hotel looks very nice from the outside. Check in was smooth and the clerk was very friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable, $85.00 for two adults and a pet.

Our room was roomy, clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast the next morning was varied and fresh.

I would definitely stay here again.

For starter it took us 15 minutes to find our room - no signs at all (we were given a map of the hotel which looked like a crosswod puzzle), we had to exit and enter the building few time with all doors requiring room key (with all luggage on hand). In the room no lights worked, it was pitch dark, all electrical sockets (behind furniture, of course) were damaged. Bathroom fausets were not in good repair either.
Recommendation: do not go there.

We stayed at this Quality Inn because it was convenient. It is a little tired and worn - could use updating. The rooms are OK but absolutely nothing fancy. The beds were comfy and the shower worked well. The carpeting is shabby and our window was very dirty. The whole place could use a good cleaning from top to bottom. The breakfast was OK but I think we'll skip it in the morning for the nearby McDonalds.
