This hotel actually exits onto Alameda Ave near I-25. Alameda is a direct route to Rio Rancho to the west, and the next major road to the south is Paseo Del Norte, a very fast route through Albuquerque east to the mountains. Lots a retail nearby but away from the highway noise - definitiely a good location for many.
We found this hotel to be a fairly typical Comfort Inn, with both pluses and minuses.
On the plus side the staff was very professional and there was a separate attendant for the breakfast (instead of the desk clerk doing double duty). The breakfast was fine. The hotel was clean and inviting. We didn't use the pool but it was big enough and seemed attractive. Plenty of parking in front.
On the minus side we found the bathroom in our suite room to be much smaller than normal; the breakfast area was too small as well. Instead of a business center there is a computer in the lobby, but there is no printer available. Other little things: There were no shear curtains so we couldn't have light and privacy at the same time. The tub didn't drain properly. We had a queen size blanket on a king size bed.
Overall the hotel is nice enough and basically average for Comfort. We would not avoid it necessarily, but likely would also check out competitors before booking again.
