The wife, dog, and I stayed here during an interstate move. The location made it fairly easy to find, and it was the only high-end pet-friendly hotel in southern Albuquerque. All of the pet rooms are on the fourth floor. The pet deposit charge is minimal, but they do have a pretty ridiculous (three-page) release that they'll want you to sign. We just, uh, forgot.

The decor is very Frank-Lloyd-Wrightish, sort of a 50's-era take on ultra-modernity. Bed was nice but the bathrooms, while functionally fine, were sort of lacking in terms of style and size.

We ordered room service from the kitchen. While predictably not cheap, it arrived in record time and was quite delicious.

Overall, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the decor is attractive, the services are excellent, and the location was convenient for us.

I've stayed at this hotel several times under various ownerships, and the current Sheraton is by far the nicest - it's been completely redone. The room was attractive & clean & the bed comfortable. I thought the bathroom was a little cheesy & second class, though. But my main issue was with the thermostat. Although theoretically I could set it at any temperature, at 60 degrees it remained stiffling hot - it must have been near 80. And I had gone out to dinner & had it set at a low temperature for several hours! I finally figured out that if I simply turned off the thermostat it would be cooler, but I was sweating & wishing I had shorts & a tank top (in January!) before I figured that out. I was only there for one brief night, or else I would have notified the desk. This spoiled an otherwise good night's sleep.

I booked in using an information desk in the arrivals lounge at the airport and managed to get a rate of $99 for one night room only.
The staff were very friendly, the bar provides good food and beverages and the breakfast is reasonable.

I had a very quiet king room at the end of the hall on the second floor; the only noise was from the HVAC, which rumbled when starting up. The bed was very plush and the four pillows absolutely enormous. There is a coffeemaker with one regular and one decaf Starbucks pack; two Earl Grey teabags; four ultra-pasteurized creamers; and two large paper cups with lids. The phone on the desk is wireless and may not work if it has lost its charge because it was accidentally unplugged. There's a desk lamp, a lamp on each side of the bed (all 3 very bright), a less bright light in the entry, and lots of vanity lighting. The vanity area has short and long armoire-style clothes racks, and two large drawers. There is a shelf and two small drawers in the main room under the TV. Extra toilet paper and towels are stashed under the sink. The showerhead has a gap in the center on the spray setting; the other setting is just in the center and more effective when the showerhead is tilted up. Bath gel is available if you ask for it. WIFI is rather slow, perhaps because I was at the end of a hall. The internet speed of the computers in the lobby seemed even slower, but there is a good printer. Also in the lobby are two Departures/Arrivals screens for ABQ Sunport. The shuttle to the airport is free and runs continuously. If you are driving, be sure to get clear directions; I tried to wing it at night (thinking how hard can it be to find the tallest building in the area?) and took every wrong turn imaginable! Every staff person was pleasant and helpful--"no" is not in their vocabulary. The only think lacking is a guest laundry facility (send out service only).
