I have never experienced anything as weird as this. We checked in (my boyfriend and I), went to the room to discover 2 double beds, no biggie. but we really wanted a king 1 bed room. we called to the lobby to ask if they had any, they said they didnt. i asked if...since we had been in the room 5 minutes, if we could get a refund. he said they dont give refunds at all, never. 5 minutes later their was a knock at the door...he said he was security and had been asked to kick us out!!! we were in shock. we should have called the cops, i wish we would have. i went to the lobby to ask for our money back again and to say how upsetting this was...and that we did nothing at all to deserve this. he then looked at me and said, "we dont need your kind here"...i think he actually thought i was there as a "lady of the evening" or something. i could not believe it. i work for a bank, i am not dirty. i have wondered ever since if it was a scam that he and the security gaurd pocket the money from...since we didnt stay the night, it was like we never checked in.

WARNING: BED BUGS!!! Rooms 101, 103 and 107 Manager Bobby Patel not responsive. Desk clerks seem nervous about helping. Toilet had a stain at the bottom of the bowl, a long hair found in the bed on the sheet. Marks on the wall where bugs were squashed.

“Bed bugs in Room 107”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2004

Booked 3 rooms for the Balloon Fiesta reported the bedbugs on the first (Friday) night after being bitten all over my body-was assured by Uman that they'd take care of it. The manager, Bobby Patel, never contacted me but since Uman said they would clean and spray I thought it would be o.k. The room looked cleaner than when we arrived when we returned on Saturday night and we were exhausted from waking up early. Collapsed to sleep and Sunday went to Santa Fe where throughout the day more and more bites appeared. Sunday night we found MORE bedbugs. The hotel is not maintained at all. It is my opinion that foreigners buy these hotels and just let them turn bad. The toilet bowl was stained at the bottom of the bowl, the tub floor wasn't white, you could see worn in dirt. There were tin y ants in the room.

Oh yes, on the first night we were there, about 2am someone dropped off 4 girls who ran upstairs creating a disturbance running on the way and while up on the 2nd floor yelled and screamed and then about 4pm the all jumped into a car and left...hmmmm.

Terrible experience.

“Won't stay there again.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2004

I used to stay at this Inn in the past, but now I wouldn't stay there again. I was very disappointed in the room (#164) & (#111). The first room had a sink that would not let the water go down the drain, a leaky faucet, dirty sheets with hair on the sheets and pillow case, I got bit twice in the back by some kind of insect. The second room had a stopped drain in the tube. I complained to the person at desk with no results. I do not think this is good customer service and I am sure that Rodeway Inn would like this kind of representation of their hotel.
