“We stay here often”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

We live in NM and we visit Albuquerque approximately 5-6 times a year. We usually choose this property to stay at mostly because a fairly nice property for the price. We stayed her before they renovated and we've of course stayed since their renovation several years ago. Parking at this Marriott is free, however it is a small inconvenience to walk from the parking lot up to the lobby. It's not a far walk, but if you come in late at night it is a little inconvenient. The staff is the best, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. The pool and exercise area is great. Jason's Deli is across the street, as is the mall and McAlisters Deli is down the road. We love them all. There are several good restaurants in walking or VERY short driving distance. On our recent visit we were told some renovations of the lobby were going to take place and there would be a little dust. The rooms are small but comfortable with upgraded tvs, granite, etc. There are some stains in some of the rooms but I've found this at most Marriotts we've stayed at recently. I do wish they would clean them more often. Overall a great property and there's so much to do in Albuquerque.

Room Tip: Ask for high floor to avoid noise overhead

“Overall A Very Good Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2012

I stayed at this hotel for New Years Eve. Parking is easy and free and noticed security patrolling the parking lot, so that made me feel better knowing my car was safe. Lobby is very nice, large sitting area, and full bar. Checking in was very easy and employees were very nice. Lots of elevators so no wait time. Room was small, I got a single king bed. The rooms that have Double Beds are larger. Very small bathrooms, but great lighting. The bed was awesome, and so were the pillows. There is a large work station with granite countertops. Large flat screen tv and lots of channel options. The headboard was falling apart, but there were easy to find electrical outlets to charge my phone plus built in reading lights. Carpet was dirty and had ripples in it, so needed to get stretched out. I was on the 11th floor, on the south side of the building. Could hear freeway noise all night, but wasn't bad. Overall, not a bad stay at all.

“5 *****”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2011 via mobile

This hotel was really outstanding. The lobby was roomy and inviting. The front desk employees where top of the line. The rooms where nice and clean. I had a room by the interstate and could not here the noise from the cars. I stayed on the 9th floor and didn't even have to wait more then 10 seconds for a elevator to open up. The breakfast buffet was good but a little high on the price. Thay even have a chef cooking up your eggs for you fresh just the way you whant them.

1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 December 2011 via mobile

The price I was told over the phone and price upon arrival were $15 different(first issue) rooms are small(second) room was quite dirty with mold on shower curtain cob webs and floors turned everything black(third problem) and I could have been ok with all of this at motel 6 or something but what really bothered me was someone that knocked on our door, appearantly couldn't hear me and used their master key to open the door!!!! Thankfully I had the slide lock on because my wife was pumping(breast milk) Luck for him I was on the toilet! Never again will I set foot in this hotel!!
