“My kids had a blast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

My two boys and I stayed at the Park Inn last weekend for my parents 40th wedding anniversary. The Hotel is clean and the gentleman at the Front desk was very helpful during our check in. We arrived late after a 12 hour drive from California and lucky for us room service was still open. Great New Mexico style food.

The next day we had free and thats when my sons had such a great time at the water park. I will stay here again for the experience of watching them play at the water park. The Hotel is connected to a full size indoor water park!!

Room Tip: This is a large sized hotel and is very quiet (i needed that rest).

My fiance and I stayed here, along with my daughter and family over New Years. The hotel is renovated and the restaurant looks to be nice for dinner but they will need to get used to the new menu. We ordered several items during our 4 day stay that came out without main ingredient (eg, Alfredo Sauce, walnuts and feta, etc.) Evidently the cooks were just getting used to a new menu with little training. The wait staff was very nice and the facilities were also. There is a bar/restaurant that's more casual than the facility on the opposite side of the wall. Karoke could be easily heard through the wall on New Year's Eve during our dinner. No big deal, but it was not a quiet type of place. For the hotel - it was ok. The beds are sleep number which was nice. The rooms had been renovated, but the bathrooms were dark and dreary (ours was missing a light bulb too which didn't help.) There isn't much room for the bathroom/dressing area. The indoor pool area looked like it would be a nice change from the noisy environment of the water park, but the pool was COLD as was the "hot tub". The water park was fun for the kids and we had a good time the day we went also. Beware...it is VERY LOUD inside this facility - we left feeling like we'd attended a really bad rock concert (where your ears are sort of ringing). As for being with my family ... that is always a joy regardless of where we go. The hotel has people walking about in swimming attire at all times. Some people have commented on noise outside and safety issues. We didn't feel unsafe at any time and left our rental cars in the lot without issues. Exception was New Year's Eve when it was noisy throughout the area (to be expected). We did see a problem in one room that was broken into - BUT the people actually wrote their room number on the room keycard and then lost it at the Water Park - DUMB....

“Wonderful Holiday Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

We stayed a tthree nights and were pleasantly suprised at the great service we received throught our stay. The staff at the reception desk were so friendly and accomadating! The food in the restaurant was amazing, usually you expect bland food at hotel restaurants. We ate most of our meals there because of the authentic New Mexico flavors.

The rooms were very clean and well maintained. We did not have any problems, the housekeepers smiled and greeted us everytime we ran into them. Our children loved the waterpark and that was definitely a bonus to our stay. They had so much fun and we didn't worry about them since there was plenty of knowledgeable lifeguards working.

The location was great there was so many places within walking distance for all your needs.

I guess this hotel would be an acceptable place to stay with the kiddies, but don't go there if you're looking for a comfortable, restful, clean place to stay. The unfriendly, bored desk staff put us in a room over the trash dumpsters (which we didn't realize until 6:00 am the next morning when we were awakened by the joyful tune of the garbage truck parade). The room was old-looking and not particularly clean. The sleep number bed (once we got it working) made the most terrible racket and was terribly uncomfortable. The business center consisted of a lone computer in the corner of the lobby -- no chair, no privacy. Judging by this facility, you can't count on Radisson-brand hotels to guarantee a good night's sleep. We won't be back.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the newer part of the hotel, away from the trash dumpsters.

“Stay for the waterpark - average hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

I have just come across some photos of this hotel from our stay last year. A review might now be a bit dated but I always find the traveller photos very useful, so I thought I would go ahead and post these anyway.
Briefly, we found the hotel room itself to be wonderfully spacious, clean and with modern ammenities. However, I booked a room with a balcony. Double opening doors leading to a foot wide "shelf" is NOT a balcony. At best it should have been called a Juliette balcony. Also no bath in the bathroom, but there was a lovely large shower. We enjoyed this place because we were with young children who loved the waterpark. (The water was highly clorinated)
