“Nice stay.”

Very nice stay. Room was in good condition (other than the phone not working). Suite is very spacious. Sofa bed was not comfortable at all, but Residence Inn provided a foam topper for the second night, and that helped a lot. Pool and spa were very clean, but note that these are outdoors, so swimming after September or before June will be very chilly. Work out facility has a couple of treadmills and some free weights. This Residence Inn also has a library, which was every nice for reading or getting some work done in a comfortable place. Breakfast was outstanding each day. Eggs, hash browns, pancakes, sausage, oatmeal with all the fixings. Sierra Mist came out of the soda machine yellow. But everything else in the eating area was very good. Great location!

Thank you, we are glad you enjoyed your stay overall. Most guests will agree that the library is a nice touch. The pool is seasonal but so refreshing during the warmer months. Our breakfast is a favorite and we consistently have great remarks about it at the front desk. The Sierra Mist is next to the Lemon Gatorade; perhaps that signage was placed incorrectly. Thank you for pointing that out. We look forward to our return guests and providing a warm welcome. Thank you again for your time and feedback. We are sure to follow up on any concerns.

“Good place to stay”

Nice stop on our New Mexico vacation. Room had more than we needed with the kitchen (full-size refrigerator, microwave with popcorn, sink, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, small table w/2 chairs), Lots of lights and electrical outlets, no safe. Only thing we didn't prefer was that the bathroom sink area was outside the shower/toilet room. Good free breakfast selection of food and beverages; coffee and soda available all day. Nice, friendly people at the front desk and even the housekeepers were friendly.

“Nice Hotel, Friendly Staff with a Few Extras”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

On this trip we stayed at five hotels in New Mexico and this was the nicest one in terms of service and quality. When I needed toothpaste and deodorant the hotel provided it free of charge.

Check In- I was greeted warmly by two elderly gentlemen while checking in. They asked my room preference, thanked me for being a rewards member and asked me if I needed any information about the area.

The Lobby- The lobby is pretty standard. There is a nice room with a fireplace, tv and internet access off to the side. Everyone was considerate of time in using the internet unlike my experience at the Sheraton Uptown in the same City.

The Room- It is a slightly older model Residence Inn. However the room was spotless and on the third floor. It was the one room suite with a sofa sleeper. My bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The kitchen had all the amenities I could ask for if I needed to make dinner.

Breakfast- The breakfast was excellent. A good variety of hot and cold items. Fresh fruit was also available. The attendant was also very friendly.

Extras- The hotel is located in what appears to be an older mall that has been transformed into an industrial center. There are several restaurants within walking distance.

Sum- There are many nice hotels in Albuquerque to choose from but in terms of service, peacefulness and complimentary breakfast this is my favorite so far.

“Made Relocation a Little Easier”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 June 2011

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn Albuquerque North for six days while relocating from California. Let me first say, the front desk staff is excellent. I had intended to stay overnight on my way from California to New Mexico but forgot it was memorial day weekend and ever hotel we stopped at was booked. I ended up arriving two days early and was afraid that I wasn't going to be able to check in.

The front desk told me to come on in early and the he would get me set up. It was really appreciated after a 17 hour straight drive. The hotel property is in a great area, with plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. There is always security around as the hotel is across from defense contractors and always felt safe day and night.

The grounds are well maintained, the pool and spa area are very nice and welcome after a long day. There is a combination tennis court and basketball as well along with a fitness center.

The rooms were very nice, after a couple of days they start to seem a bit smaller but still a very decent size although I wouldn't want to stay in a one bedroom suite for more then two weeks. The A/C worked awesome, something that is important to us who like to sleep in a cold room. The kitchen was well supplied and functional. There are two flat screen HDTV screens, one in the living room and one in the bedroom.

Housekeeping does a great job keeping the rooms and the property clean. The laundry room came in handy although it was a little pricey.

The only issue I had was the internet speed, it was VERY slow. I had to do work while I was relocating and had to go to starbucks to do a web meeting because the connection speed was too slow. I measured it at just 70K which is just a little over dial up, they have to do something about that and if you are working and need reasonable speed you might want to think about another location.

Other then the internet speed, the hotel was awesome. I would definitely return.

“Highly recommended; would stay again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 June 2011

This hotel was the starting place for our family trip to New Mexico.
We stayed for four days with our 18-year old son, and the two bedroom suite (each bedroom with its own bathroom) was perfect for us.
We requested a feather-free room they day before arriving, and the front desk person who greeted us assured us that he had made sure there were no down pillows/covers in the room. Everything in the room was very clean, the living area and kitchen were wonderful. The hotel served a good breakfast with eggs etc. in the morning, and on Mon. through Thurs. free food at "Social Hour" in the late afternoon.
The outdoor pool is great.
Location of the hotel is very convenient, right off Route 25.
Good wi-fi connection.
