“Recommended to my husband”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2011

I stayed in the Drury (December 2010) on a business trip for a week. When I initially called and asked for the room block rate, I was told it wasn't available BUT ask again when I arrive. I asked and they honored the rate. A substantial savings! I'm glad all 25 trainees didn't show up or our training room would have been too SMALL. I enjoyed the large hotel room, comfortable bed, free wifi, 20 minutes free long distance, complimentary soda, popcorn, hot breakfast and kick back in the evenings. When I got home, I told my husband the next time he goes to ABQ to stay here. He is there now (October 2011) and called to thank me for recommending this place. His students really appreciate the hot meals--especially since they didn't get a travel advance for meals. I asked him if a got a room with a balcony. He said no but he really appreciated the staff going out of their way to be helpful.

“My first stay at a Druiry was solid”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

I called to confirm our reservation and they didn't have it. It was through Expedia and there seemed to be a problem with them. The room was spacious. Being my first time in a Druiry, I didn't have much expectations. I'd say a bit better then I thought it would be.
Breakfast was a bit above average continental. Okay service, just not personal. It was a bit overpriced for what it was though. It was balloon fest time and motels gouge. But we had a nice comfortable stay with a view of balloons in the sky.
I was dissappointed seeing they took pets, If I'd known, I would have tried to reserve a pet free room.

Room Tip: They take pets. I don't know if they have pet free rooms, but may want to ask. I love my pets, b...

“Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2011

We were in Albuquerque for a wedding and stayed three nights. We had a room at the end of the hallway which would have been nice except that it was located the closest to IH25 and therefore, we had traffic noise all night. However, once asleep. it didn't bother us. All of the amenities are very nice. We only had a chance to try the breakfast, which was very good. We missed the afternoon happy hour because of wedding parties, etc., but others said it was very nice. We did have a chance to use the free long distance to call home. That is a small but nice feature. Overall, the room was clean and the staff was very nice.

Room Tip: Rooms as far as possible from the interstate highway are better.

“Very Noisy Hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2011

This is the worst place to stay if you would like to get a good nights sleep.
Doors slam all night, dogs bark and children seem to run wild in the halls, elevators
and most of the property. Desk clerks not helpful at all in stopping the noise or other
problems.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a floor that does not allow pets.
