“Couldn't have asked for more!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 December 2011

I found this place by googling "pet friendly hotels in Albuquerque, NM. We were driving from Syracuse to Scottsdale and were passing through Albuquerque and needed a place to stay for one night. I'm so pleased to have found Cinnamon Morning. We stayed in Casita "C" and it was absolutely adorable. It was everything I imagined New Mexico would be like. We arrived exhausted and asked Sue, the innkeeper, for a place to purchase wine and grab a bite to eat. She was right on the money. Found our favorite wine just around the corner and an awesome organic eatery just down the street as well.

The casita was decorated in true southwestern decor and included a furnished kitchenette, a small living/sitting room, a queen bed and a tv. The bathroom towels were soft and thick and the bed was very comfortable. There were two white robes hanging in the closet along with two pairs of slippers. There was even a huge bowl of M&Ms hanging on the wall for us. Wish I had more time to eat them!!!!

Breakfast was served in the main house. On the morning that we were to leave, Sue made us some awesome pancakes, bacon, spiced apples, fresh fruit w/whipped cream, coffee, orange juice and cranberry juice. There are two awesome dogs and one cat who live in the main house just in case you didn't bring your own pets!

I can't stress enough what a wonderful hostess Sue is. She has such a genuinely friendly demeanor and wants all of her guests to be comfortable. If I ever find myself driving through here neck of the woods again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. My stay at Cinnamon Morning Bed & Breakfast was the highlight of my long drive out west. If you like B&Bs, trust me, you'll love it there.

Room Tip: Absolutely loved Casita "C"

This place is nice, but the real gem is Sue, the innkeeper. She is lovely and made the place feel so warm.

“Outstanding...relaxed, all the comforts, awesome food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2011

After our first stay, we decided we had to come back again, this time for two nights. Now we plan to come back to Sue and Cinnamon Morning each time we travel to Albuquerque (3-4 times a year). Yes, it's that great! Sue's a gracious host, serves delicious gourmet breakfasts, and all her suggestions for eating and activities were spot on. We stayed in the black and red king size bedroom and it is our favorite for the size, kiva and well appointed bathroom. The rooms are each uniquely decorated, quality of linens, cleanliness, attention to small details...all outstanding. With water garden, outside cantina and kiva, there is room to find a quiet corner outside your room. Saw the casitas and they seem like they would be great for families. In the main house the great room has areas for quiet conversation as well as games, or, enjoy the fireplace if you happen to be there in the winter.

Room Tip: Sue is excellent in advising you as to the room that best fits your need.

“A welcoming garden hide-away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2011

We chose Sue's B&B based on other trip advisors' recommendations. We stayed at Cinnamon Morning for a few days prior to driving up to Santa Fe and then returned for an overnight stay before flying home. Sue is a warm and gracious host and a great cook (breakfasts were outdoors and yummy -- homemade scones, blintzes with fresh cherries, fresh seasonal fruit -- all good!). She gave us spot-on recommendations for things to do in and around Albuquerque. Accommodations are clean, comfortable and Southwest colorful! We felt quite at home and look forward to a return visit!
