“High on the Historic B & B on High Street”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

Kara & Steve have created the whole package at this very pleasant B & B. The service, hospitality and charm are A+. The location is very convenient to anything you would want to do in Albuquerque and a good jumping off point for day trips in the area. I will return to this spot whenever I travel back to New Mexico.

“Beautifully Furnished and Lovely Hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

We enjoyed this B&B so much we returned for a second visit! We spent two nights in Albuquerque at the beginning of our New Mexico vacation and when passed through on the way back from Sante Fe and Taos, we were happy that there was room for us on short notice. The owners, Steve & Kara, are so welcoming and gracious we felt like we were returning to old friends. The rooms are furnished with antiques and the two different houses we stayed in (both owned and operated by the same family) were maintained with care. The breakfasts were creative and well-prepared. All in all an A+ experience.

“warm welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

We enjoyed the warm welcome from our wonderful hosts Steve and Kara. We met the most interesting guests at the delicious breakfast. Our room, the Ivy Room, was cozy and romantic. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub one evening. We definitely plan to stay there on our next trip west.

“A quiet and restful stay in very comfortable surroundings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

My family and I stayed with Steve and Kara during New Year 2012 and were welcomed warmly by their entire family. This was our second stay with them and we would not hesitate to recommend a stay with them to anyone seeking a warm and inviting residence which is beautifully appointed and to share an exquisite breakfast, and delightful conversation if you desire it. The residence is centrally located downtown, making an early morning flight a very quick connection. We will always consider another stay with them as our travels take us through Albuquerque.

“Fine, convenient historic B&B experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

A fun thing about a B&B can be interacting with the owners and other guests, primarily during the shared and delicious breakfast. These two houses are lovely specimens of a time that was. They have been lovingly restored. My wife, Jenifer, and I stayed 2 nights in mid-January in the Secret Garden Room. Lovely. Nice layout and specious bath with robes available.
Breakfast was served in the Spy House, made famous in the Rosenberg case. Fresh fruit, juice, a NM egg and chili dish. Conversing with 6 other guests was nice. Our hosts do a great job.
The B&B is 2 blocks from a lovely stretch of Central and 3 more blocks to the train station. A day trip to Santa Fe is easy. Inkeepers Kara and Steve Grant are more than upholding the B&B standard. Lots of lovely touches throughout our stay.
