We stay at this hotel regularly since it is right on the marina and has wonderful views. Besides that, it's reasonably priced and the employees are very nice and helpful. The beds were upgraded in the last room we stayed in with really high and comfortable matresses. They were so high, my feet wouldn't touch the ground when I sat on the bed!
We were excited to hear that they are going to reopen a bar/restaurant on the top floor.
There used to be one there and it was nice to be able to have a cocktail and look out on the bay from that height.
Lately, that space has been used for the free breakfast.
The breakfast consisted of the usual continental breakfast items and biscuits and scrambled eggs - all good.

are at this hotel. Our room was on the 10th floor and we had an awesome view of the water and marina across the street. Our room was huge and very clean but it was dated and could certainly benefit from some cosmetic updates to the curtains and carpet.

As noted in previous reviews, the hotel is very close to an outdoor bandstand which plays until 1:30am so don't expect much sleep until after that. As we were just below the breakfast floor, we were awakened very early ( around 5:00am or so) with the staff up there rolling their trolleys of food around in preparation for the breakfast crowd. Also be advised that they are planning to renovate that flloor and add a bar and restaurant by the spring of 2012. Many 10th flloor guests will not get a lot of sleep when that happens!

Chris at the front desk was helpful and friendly; Kelly (I think. Redhead with should-length hair) was much less friendly and seemed to delight in "high-jacking" us with some request as we were leaving in the morning. Perhaps she is not aware of telephones and messages.

Overall, we would return to this hotel.

This hotel has a great view of the Marina on the bay of Corpus Christi. They are currently remodeling most of the Hotel and making it better every week. The staff and management is very friendly and helpful. I stay here for business many times and will walk across to the Water Street Restaraunt to get the best sea food in Corpus. Live music is all arounnd. I will take my wife their to relax and have some fun. The walks on the Sea Wall are great and if you like looking at sail boats this is a great place to be. Wednesday evenings at 5 is sailboat racing. Entertainment is all over this area with plenty to do.

We picked the hotel because of the location and we were not dissappointed.The views from the breakfast room were awesome.The hotel staff were very accomadating.The room was spacious enough even with 4 people and suitcases.The beds were very comfortable and the tv was positioned so whichever bed you took you could still watch it without straining your neck.There were previous reports of cars being broken into so rather than park the car in the undercover car park (which did seem a little dark even during the day) I opted to park mine in the open.Even tho the car was very warm when we got in I thought it would be a safer option.It does say that there are camera's monitoring the carpark so I figured if it was out in the open there would be more chance of catching anyone.We didnt hear of any break in while we were there.All in all a great hotel in a great location.
