Traveled to Corpus Christi with Boyfriend and 3yr/ 8yr/ 11yr/ 15yr old children. Arrived at estates in 9AM in the morning after driving all night from DFW. Staff was kind enough to go ahead and let us check in even though check in time wasn't until 3pm. Thank god because we were all quite tired!

They put us in a room in the 200 section when we walked in noticed the carpet was extremely wet. Walking around in the condo water was coming up over shoes in every room.

Picked up the phone called the front desk and advised them. They immediately moved us to a much nicer room and apologized for having to put us in a upstairs room which was (to us) much better anyways.

Kiddos got their own bedroom w/ TV and Cable which they just loved. We had a 2 bed/ 2 bath condo which came in handy. The kids had their own bathroom which made it easier when we came back from the Beach with sand all over everyone.

The Neighborhood was quiet and didnt have any issues. We noticed the security / maintenance personnel walking around the property numerous times.

I would stay at Christy Estates again as it was a nice / relaxing atmosphere to be in with such a large family.

Went with my wife for our 25th anniversary. After reading some reviews I was scared. Got there and it was not far from the freeway. We stayed in the cavern room which was just awesome. Its very spacious and was quite comfortable. The staff was fine and the neighbor hood wasn't the ghetto some people make it out to be. If we go to Corpus again I will stay there.

It was myself, my husband, 8 yr old daughter & 8 yr old nephew. Plus my uncle, his wife and their 3 teenage kids. It was big and spacious, 2 BR, 2 Bath, the kitchen was a big plus. Even when we weren't out fishing, shopping or sight seeing, it was nice to just hang out around the pool and in the room. LOVED IT!!!!! Plan to go again this summer!

During my recent stay at the Christy Estates I was elated to be getting away from the every day stresses. Upon entering the parking lot of the Christy Estates there was a police officer in the parking lot and a window smashed out of the truck. I should have taken it as an omen to turn around and find other lodging yet the reviews I had read claimed that the hotel was fantastic so I figured... Why not? Bad idea.... shortly after 1am I was awoken when six police cars and ambulance parked outside of my room and began to tape off the area which was now a crime scene. I carefully peeped my head outside to see what the issue was and was alarmed to have cameras outside of my room, I stood outside with the camera men/women and turned around to see what they were filming and was horrified to see a body of man laying inside of his hotel room. It was traumatizing. I went the following day to speak to managment about what I had experienced and the staff was neither sympathetic and or willing to refund my money so that I could stay somewhere else. In fact the head manager informed me that she did not understand why I was making a fuss when the room above the deceased had not complained. When I notified the manager that I had actually seen the deceased mans body she shrugged her shoulders and with out care and or concern told me sorry. She would not give me a number to contact someone of higher managment and would not release the name of the owner either. It was a very unfortunate event that took place that night, and I will forever be haunted with the grizzly image of the deceased gentleman. The staff has no thought and or concern for your safety. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this estate.
