Booked this hotel via Hotwire Hot Rate so had no idea what hotel we would end up with. However, their description says 2.5 star in Marina/Bayfront area, so assumed it would be a block or two from the beach and marina. But once booked, they let you know the hotel and it was this one. It is nearly 1 mile from beach or marina and is in a very BAD neighborhood. Also, an econolodge typically is not 2.5 star but is actually a 1 or 2. I will say the hotel room was nice and clean and staff was very nice. Free breakfast was also good with cook your own waffles, fruit, cerial, muffins, etc. And also had free WiFi. But, if you want something in walking distance to the beach, do not get this hotel.

I was in town for an interview and was pointed to this hotel by a coulleague. I was skeptical as it was a small hotel. However being on a budget was important to me. This hotel was worth the money. Staff was excellent and room was very fresh. Thank you!

we had gone to corpus during spring break with our family. there were no rooms on the beach but found one last room at this hotel, i'm glad we did!. the rooms were much cleaner than the beach hotel rooms we had stayed before. we also learned that the hotel was previously a comfort inn so it was a great bargain for the price we paid. we will definately go back to this hotel on our next visit to corpus christi. also, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

First off this hotel is in a very bad part of C.C. Bums everywhere asking for money!!!!!!!!!!!! We understand it is not the hotels fault, just a warning to everyone. 2nd we got into town early and just wanted to rest. Check in with a reservation was at 3:00. We called the front desk at 2:00 and informed them that i did have a sick child with me and asked if we could check in just a little early. I was informed very rudly that it did not matter if it was a sick adult or sick child that there was not a room ready and could not check in until 3:00. Everyone knows that there are rooms ready at 2:00 in the afternoon!
The front desk person was very rude. When we did get into our room I can say it was clean. The pool is very small. And because of the location and rudness we will not be staying here again.
