The hotel is very nice breakfast every morning, free drinks from 7 to 9. our stay was great until the day we were leaving, our 2006 truck was broken into. They took our stero, digtial camera, cell phone, We thought we were a secure area, but come to find out from the the sargent that came the cameras are on the middle of the building, so they do not reach to the end of there parking lots, we were parked up buy the builing. The sargent also told us that the hotel is between to rival gangs. He said we should of stayed down south .. the manager never contacted us about this matter, he was not even there. My huband and i said before this matter we would stay there again, but after this matter noway. If you do say do not leave anything in your car and park it next to a camera.

we stayed at the hotel for 3 days, it was clean, the employees were friendly, breakfast was OK. We enjoyed it.

I stayed at this hotel 3 times, so I gave them a few chances. The first time I got there, I almost wanted to walk right out, because of how rude and snobby the clerks at the front desk were. Of course, they were the owners of this franchised hotel so they probably felt they could get away with anything.
The room when I first entered looked beautiful, as did the lobby. However, when I reached for a towel, it was dirty. When I climbed into bed my first night, I broke out in a terrible itch all over my body (probably dirty sheets too). Every dish and utensil in the "kitchen" was filthy and dirty. The housekeeping wouldn't take away the dishes and cups that were used either. They basically sat there until I washed them, even though they were from the lobby, and not from the filthy dishes stocked in the "kitchen" of my room.
The breakfast was awful! If you want old fruit, mini muffins, and stale eggs that have been sitting there all morning, then this place is for you!
The second time I went (and I had no choice because my company put me there) it was the same rudeness. The woman at the desk wouldn't accept my airline points card and told me that I didn't deserve the points because I didn't pay for the room, my company did (even though I have been doing this for years).
The third and final time, there was a leak from the ceiling down to my bed. When I called to complain the front desk clerk told me it was too late and that I had to deal with it until morning. I asked him how he expected me to deal with a drip over my head, and he told me, "I'm sure it's not that bad, anyway, I can't do anything. You'll have to deal with it until our maintenance man gets here in the morning." He didn't even offer to change my room for the night. Eventually I left and went back to the Hamtpon Inn, where I was always well taken care of.

My wife and I stayed at the Hawthorne Suites in Corpus Christi, TX 9/19/04-9/22/04. We are somewhat picky about hotel accommodations, but we found it to be better than expected. We got off to a rocky start when we checked into a room in which the mini-fridge was leaking a blue liquid and giving a pungent odor. The 2nd room was missing a VCR that the 1st room had, but we didn't need one. Except for a weak shower, everything else was good. The room was comfortable and clean. All the TV channels + HBO. 24-hour fresh coffee. Good breakfast. Free drinks at happy hour gave primo brands: Chivas, Wild Turkey, Jack/black, etc. Nice pool area and hot tub. Free Houston Chronicle and USA Today. Easy in and out. All in all, we would stay here again.
