I stayed this past weekend Feb 3-5 in a double bed 1 bedroom suite. As I told the gentleman at check-in when I stay at this type of hotel I usually stay at Homewood Suites. And they are just a notch better in my opinion.

Check-in: Quick and painless. Got the top floor room 406. Room was clean clean. Nicely stocked kitchen but what's wrong with the ice maker? It literally made 4 cubes in a 24 hour span. I called the front desk and there is no ice maker but the soda machine in the breakfast area has an ice option so that's where we got our ice. Not sure what was up with that and I did tell Joe at the front desk. Just FYI: there is a shower only, no tub for family looking to give the little one a bath. 10am on the dot, they start vacuuming the hallway so be prepared for that.
Light touch housekeeping: My one complaint was that I was not notified of this at check-in. If you stay over the weekend you have to request light touch housekeeping by 5pm Friday if you want garbage emptied and towel replacement etc. There's a small sign on the bathroom sink that I saw as I was brushing my teeth to go to bed Friday night so of course too late. My travel mate ended up running into the housekeeper Saturday to get us fresh towels. There are 2 sets but as most females know, we use at least 2 washcloths: 1 for face and 1 for body so not quite enough.

Breakfast: Waffles with strawberry topping, bacon(not sure what type of bacon), sausage(not good), fresh fruit medley, oatmeal, toast and muffins, juice and coffee. Staff stocking the breakfast weren't exactly the friendliest...

Pool/movie area: Very nice movie area to watch movies. Pool looked nice but too cold to use.
Check-out: Was quick and efficient. They put the receipt under the door but you still have to stop by the desk which is pointless to me. They need to look into express check out for sure. I would return if it is under 100/night.

I definitely recommend it and cannot think of one bad thing to say about this property. They provided everything you can think of that you might need for a prolonged stay (dishes, utensils, dishwasher, pots, etc). The room was clean when I arrived and staff kept it that way for the 6+ weeks I spent there. The staff was outstanding; responsive, friendly and informative about the city. Joe in particular was a great guy who made me feel right at home.
The hot morning breakfast was great although limited in variety as far as egg dishes, but it also offered other options. The three nights of food and happy hour midweek were most appreciated after a hard day and no desire to cook or seek off premises food. Facilities in the room also were great for cooking that could be done on a stove top or in a microwave. Loved it and would stay there again.

I came into town to do some birding in the general area. I loved having a hot breakfast as an option each day in addition to snacks in the evening. Can't beat having a kitchen, being close to lots of shopping and restaurants, having a place to workout and do your laundry for free. Loved the stay and though it was a bit far to some of my birding locations (over 1 hour), the choice to stay here and make this my "base" for 4 days was the right decision.

My house caught on fire in December of 2011, and mmy family and I have been staying in this hotel for almost a month. The hotel and employees were very nice, friendly, hospitable, and simply the best. This hotel is, by far, the best place I've ever stayed at and would more than likely recommend this one to anybody traveling in this area.
