I've traveled to Italy, Germany, France, Mexico, and Korea. The point in traveling is to experience the rich history and culture of the people. Step back in time at the Copper Sands motel where the premises depict a by-gone era of roadside motels in American history. The pace is slower and the owners are friendly and accommodating. Enjoy visiting with the locals and patrons under the patio while listening or singing to karoke whether it is summer or winter. Fill the refrigerator with steaks and fixin's for the BBQ in the evening or cook in your room with the utinsels and hot plate provided. Later, expect a good nights sleep in the comfortable beds. There's plenty of hot water for a shower (which I can't say for many of the places I have stayed). The electrical outlets are limited but at least they are 110 and one can plug in a hairdryer! I would stay at the Copper Sands if ever in Ajo again.
