We stayed at the Rodeway Inn for two nights in June 2011. We originally only booked 1 night as part of a west coast road trip, but ended up in SLC a day early. We had pre-booked our one night but the hotel staff were happy to extend this to the two nights for us with no hassle.

The rooms were great - clean, spacious with all the amenities needed. We did not use the pool so can not comment on this. Parking was easy to find and free. The hotel was within walking distance to a number of tourist areas - we visited the Morman Church area and the shopping centres!

run-down; breakfast meager, under-supplied; wifi unavl during any peak period (eg, evenings); no heat!; no guest laundry facilities (washer broken, not fixed); understaffed maid service (reduced service on holidays)

Very cheap hotel apparently trying to squeeze last revenue prior to collapse. No longer provides services advertised -- and seems to have no intention of doing so. Provides false/misleading answers to guests, effectively destroying any repeat business. On its last legs. Not recommended.

This is no longer a Super 8. It is now a Rodeway Inn. I didn't know till I got there. In the time I was there my car and someone elses was robbed in the parking lot. Staff was rude and abusive!!!!!!!!!

They call that "super 8" but it's , in fact a RODEWAY INN hotel, SUPER CENTER.

Yes the price ( $63 tax incl) is interesting for an hotel very well situed in center of salt lake city. By feet, you can access every where in the center ( temple, main street... ).
Not a luxuous but correct fourniture, clean and all the amenities free ( wifi, parking, breakfast, fitness...).
If wifi doen't work correctly, you can find another free one in scanning .
Otther hotels near have the same price ( motel6, other unknown brand ) so it's the firs one we found after trying and econologe too much expensive in a outside city area.
Nothing special about this Rodeway.
