“Clean but small”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 December 2010

I chose this hotel because it was close to my customer and I am trying to use Holiday Inn Express more. The lady at the counter was very kind and courteous. Check-in /out was a pleasure. I had room with a queen size bed, microwave and fridge. The furniture was clearly made for the standard size Holiday Inn express room. The room was small, and felt cramped. This was not a problem for me but I expected a larger room for the price. This is the reason I gave the 'room' and 'value' three bullets instead of 5. The restroom was tight too, because of the large counter. I like lots of counter space so this was not a problem either. You would probably have trouble getting the door closed if you're a 250 pounder. The internet was great and the bed was really comfortable, in fact the most comfortable I have experienced. The TV was substandard compared to other remodeled hotels. I may stay here again, however, I will try to get a better price elsewhere first.

“Very clean and convenient”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2010

We stayed here for one night as a stop over in SLC, and it was perfect for road weary travelers. Very friendly front desk staff, clean, well lit, and convenient location off the freeway and close to restaurants.
We didn't use the pool, but we checked it out, and it was beautiful, and really big. They also allow pets for a $25 charge. There is a nice continental breakfast in a large dining room as well.
The only negative was the very close proximity to the freeway-you could definitely here the traffic when you were outside. If you have a hard time sleeping, you may want to request a room on the other side of the freeway.

“Great place to stay when in Salt Lake”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2010

Great location to get on highway quickly and travel to Salt Lake or either mountain range. Local train stop nearby. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed (memory foam) was incredible! Pool was clean and very pleasant, except for it border the highway so you hear constant road noise (privacy is provided by tall trees however). Continental breakfast was fantastic :)

“Request a room away from the freeway”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 August 2010

I arrived at 9:15 pm so i didn't have much of a choice on room location. My house is in the country so i may be spoiled? But .if i had to to do it over again i would have traveled a few more blocks to another hotel. The noise from the freeway kept me tossing and turning all night. If you can get a room on the west side of this hotel do it!!!
The rooms are clean and the tempurpedic mattress is great.
The free Wifi is faster than most.
Breakfast included normal fare nothing exceptional but hearty enough for another long day of driving.

“Hotel great but we were conned in the parking lot!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 April 2010

Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. When getting ready to check out, my husband took his luggage to the car and came back and told me about a man in the parking lot who had gone jogging and lost his wallet. He said he had no money to get back to Lake Havasu AZ, was a military retiree who had traveled all over the world and had never had an experience like this. Both my husband and I went out with the remainder of our luggage and I walked over and talked to the man. He was dressed in jogging clothes, well groomed, finishing a conversation on his cell phone and I talked to him. We both felt badly for him and my husband gave me $20 to give him and I added $60 to that and the guy was so very appreciative and said he'd send us a check as soon as he got back to AZ. The guy was a CON ARTIST!!! We didn't contact management because we were embarrassed that we'd been conned!
