I've stayed at the Peery three times in the last 12 months. It is an old hotel, and the rooms are not particularly spacious, but the bed is worth any inconvenience caused by the tiny bathroom and lack of counter space at the sink. I've gotten a good night's sleep on each of my stays, and that's unusual for me when staying in a hotel. The Tempurpedic mattress is wonderful! The staff is helpful and friendly, and I give special kudos to Joe, the evening concierge/bellman/parking attendant. Parking is an additional charge ($12 per day, I think), but the price of the room is reasonable and the hotel is within an easy walk of a number of good restaurants. Parking rates include in-and-out service. I have no doubt I'll book at the Peery whenever I travel to Salt Lake City. Just be sure to ask for a room away from the dumpster!

The location is great but there is no covered parking. Find parking on the street or pay $10 to park in an adjoining lot. The hotel is old but has been renovated in the past few years. The rooms are very tiny, however the king bed was a temperpedic mattress and was fabulous! The bathroom is a closet! No tub and the shower is definitely for only one person. Easy walking distance to downtown Salt Lake or to the Trax for transportation.

I stayed at the hotel last week and let me tell you... some of the greatest customer service I have ever experienced. I bellman Tanner was extremely helpful and always was there right away when I needed him. The beds were amazing I mean really amazing and the Housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping my room nice and tidy.

I was especially impressed with the front desk agent Bradley, he was always eager to help me with whatever I needed. Always greeted me with a smile and made me feel so comfortable to be there. I will return to the peery everytime I am in town specifically because of Bradley.

The Peery Hotel is my favorite hotel to stay at when I'm in Salt Lake City on business. I started staying there a few months and usually stay 3 or 4 days out of the month. My favorite things about this hotel are it's elegant lobby and historical charm. I've had almost every kind of room type you can have and each has it's own charm. While some rooms are considerably smaller than others, you can not beat the comfortable beds, large windows and the great downtown location. I was surprised to see the read "loser' comment about the staff. Whoever that person is most of not had Joe and Erin helping them. They are both by far the best hotel staff I've met in all my years of traveling. Only downsides of the Peery are not many amenities, no restaurant in the hotel. However, being right in downtown it's easy to access whatever you need.
