My husband and I had an OK experience (except for the loud AC cycling on and off all night) until the morning when we went downstairs for 5 minutes to eat a quick breakfast at 9:30 am. By the time we returned to our room, our towels had been taken and not replaced. I went to the front desk to ask what happened. She explained that for guests staying more than one night, there is a linen change. I explained that our reservation was only one night and regardless of the length of stay, we should have towels for our morning shower. To make a long story short, it took 45 minutes to get towels!!! I felt like my privacy was invaded... what housekeeping staff enters the room as early as 9:30am and takes the towels but doesn't replace them? I had all my personal things laid out on the bed ready for a shower after breakfast.
The front desk gal was nice, but not very apologetic. She even made me hunt down the housekeeping staff (who didn't speak English and kept pointing fingers at each other but I still didn't get towels). FINALLY after calling the front desk and expressing my extreme frustration, the front desk lady hand-delivered 2 small towels. We took our showers and left (later than wanted).
Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices.
