Which I do from time to time, so please know that I am not a picky guest by any means. I waited at the front desk for a half hour or so until someone responded to my call. In the middle of the check-in process (already a long ordeal as the kid, though very nice, could not find the reservation) a manager interrupted for a 5 minute or so spat about several operational problems. Very unprofessional.
As far as the room: it was smoked in; I had to flush the toilet (quite nasty, really); finally I sincerely doubt that the sheets had been changed.
The hotel proper is in reality a motel since the doors open up to the outside- which is a corner between two busy highways. The noise wasn't loud, but it was continuous. The price was cheap, but way to expensive for the value one receives. Next time I'll save it and sleep in the airport parking lot.
