I stayed at this motel because it was close to an event I was attending, but I would never recommend it to anyone. The "nonsmoking" room stank of cigarette smoke. There was something smeared on the wall and the towels were stained -- looked like someone had polished shoes with them. The bathroom floor was grimy and the tray that held the coffee service was covered with dirt and hair. There are plenty of much better places in Salt Lake, folks -- don't stay here!

We have had very good luck staying in Days Inn Hotels while traveling. We were planning on staying 2 nights in Salt Lake City but after one night here, that was enough. The road the hotel is on is very noisy. It never quiets down. So between traffic noise, cars pulling into lot playing loud music, and the argument between a couple in the parking lot during the night, we did not get much sleep. The room was okay. Clean, but the bathroom needs some fixing. Cabinets were worn and the tub area needs repair. Wallpaper peeling off wall in bath area. Would not stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on August 8 2011. I had my wife and son with me. Do not go here. The beds were not changed. There were bugs in the bath room as well as something that looked like feces in the bath tub. It was dirty and noisy. Stay clear.

We always stay at the Days Inn in Provo when visiting and it is adequate, a good deal for the money. So when we needed a hotel for one night in SLC, my husband chose this place. What a difference! Pulling in we could see it was seedy. It was not very clean, some crumbling tile, the adjustor knob on the AC was broken, etc. Outside were the "residents" hanging out, calling out to one another, etc. At one point someone banged on our door. It was "Mandy" and to be fair she left us alone when my husband yelled through the door "I don't know you!" We booked two rooms, one for us and one for adult son & daughter traveling with us. They came later and she ended up calling a taxi and clearing out, there were men drinking, shouting and fighting outside the room. We found a way to turn the air conditioner up, it was so loud it drowned out the traffic noise and sounds of the residents having their regular night life. Just don't stay here if you can help it.
