We stayed 1 night in the Days Inn SLC Airport after flying from the east coast. We chose it because of its proximity to SLC (4 miles) and low rate ($68 total). The hotel was fine - easy to find, clean, smooth check-in, and basic continental breakfast. I wouldn't choose it for an extended stay but for traveling into/out of SLC it certainly fir the bill.

free internet in everyroom wifi,
good the place closed to airport
a great base to start the trip of the deep south!!!!

I wanted to take their cheap rates with many amenities!
u have to try this motel.
because with 70$ u can be very pleased to be there with nothing missing
also a double queen is good!! and plenty of space!

When I first entered the lobby, the stench of cigarette smoke hit me and my heart sank. I thought that the rooms, too, would stink. Thankfully the room did not.

Room was reasonably clean.

In-room wireless was spotty, ended up using the common computer for a bit, then used my wireless in the lobby when someone else wanted to use the computer.

The dryer in the laundry room seemed underpowered.

They put up a sign to charge for usage of the printed 10cents a sheet, but when I wanted to pay, the lady-in-charge said it was okay, which was really really nice.

Breakfast was above average. I say above average because it not only has DIY waffles, but also, bananas or was it apples? I forget. And, the lady who is in-charge of the breakfast table, was always there, cleaning and cleaning up as people used the room. I was impressed with her diligence.

We were in town for the OR expo. This hotel is just 2 miles on North Temple from the convention center which worked out fine. There was adquate parking, very friendly staff and rooms were clean. A fridge and microwaved in each room is always a plus. the lobby has a vending machines which include frozen items to zap in the microwave if you need that late night snack but don't want to venture out. The A/C also works great. Breakfast is standard cereal, bagels, etc but the hot waffles is always a plus. However, on busy mornings, it's a bit of a wait since they only have one iron. The coffee is awful but that's always the case with these free breakfasts! :-) You can walk a block or two for fast food and a couple of table service restaurants. And the rates were very reasonable considernig we were in town for one of their biggest conventions.
