Stayed here for a week, to visit my daughter in Sugarhouse and didn't want a hotel experience. Sharon, our hostess, was quite accommodating, willing to provide cold beverages throughout the day, let us choose our time for breakfast, offered conversation and information when we wanted it, yet allowed us much privacy. She took pride in keeping our room nice. We stayed in Daybreak, and knew the shower/bath area was "in the open" (with a privacy screen if you wanted to use it), some people might not like that. Breakfast was plentiful, I felt bad because I wasn't able to eat it all - yogurt, fresh fruit, muffin, juice, granola, coffee. I actually liked the breakfast being delivered to your door. Some people like to eat in a common area, and many times I do as well, but for this week, it was my preference to have the privacy.
Be aware that the property is close to the highway, and so you do hear that noise at night if you open the window. We like to have the windows open, but being from the country, we had to close it, we weren't accustomed to the noise.
Sharon shared the pictures of the renovation, but I wish that there would have been more and had captions, that could be one thing the owners could do to highlight the hard work that went into the B&B. It is something I always like to know about when I stay in a historic home. I will likely return for a visit!!
