Located perfectly in Downtown Salt Lake City - near top-notch eating, drinking, shopping, and historic destinations. The Inn on the HIll is a historic B&B, which has been carefully preserved and updated in both common spaces and in the rooms. The common spaces features a formal dining hall, a billiards room, reading room, living room, and grand foyer. The rooms feature comfortable beds, jet tubs, and period (1900s, 1910s) furniture. For an experience like living in a grand 1900s mansion, with modern amenities, close to everything, Inn on the Hill is the best of Salt Lake City.

We stayed here for two nights while passing through Salt Lake City. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed, hosts pleasant and unobtrusive, and breakfast delicious and satisfying. The location is great--we enjoyed walking down the hill for dinners (Caffe Molise was great) and up the hill for the Capitol. We highly enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn on the Hill for our 1 yr anniversary. When we arrived they gave us a tour of the home. And we were given the option to upgrade to any of the available rooms from the one I booked for free. We ended up on the second floor in the Saltair room. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean. The bathroom was to die for (really I want a bathroom just like that one day). They had drinks available at a little station in the hall for free. We upgraded for breakfast in bed the following morning. They were able to easily accommodate the fact that I'm vegetarian, which was very nice.
Over all a wonderful stay and hope to stay their again. I always recommend the inn to friends and family.

For my birthday, my husband decided to take me away overnight, but wanted me to pick where we stayed. I called up the inn and asked if they happened to have any rooms available on such short notice. Luckily for us they did. Not only did they accomodate us on the spur of the moment, but let a hand-written card and complimentary chocolates in my room for the birthday celebration. The place is beautiful and breakfast was amazing!
