I absolutely enjoyed the Haxton Manor. The downstairs decor, my room, and the gracious host. (Even ehen she was delirious with fever, she was nice.). So, indeed, go to the Haxton Manor. It's fantastic, and close to many attractions.

The room was pretty decent... it was consitent with what was advertised on the website. The food was adequate. Overall a very average B&B.

Service was horrible; charged $20 over what was advertised and confirmed in the confirmation email (they charged me the weekend rate on a weekday). Still trying to get refund... they are not at all responsive. They keep saying they're going to send it out, but no result 2 months later. They do not return calls, or keep promises to resolve the issue. I would not recommend this to anyone if you appreciate good business.

My wife and I love B&Bs. We have stayed at nearly all of them in the SLC area and for Valentine's Day we tried Haxton Manor and were blown away. The inn is a historically accurate restoration and as soon as we walked in it felt like...home. We spent the weekend relaxing the Boar's Head Pub and chatting with the other guests. Our room was perfect with beautiful antique furnishings, fine linens, a fireplace and jetted tub. In the morning, breakfast was served to a lively and energetic crowd of guests. We all got along se well that it was about lunch time before we left the table. The service was attentive and the staff was friendly.

This was what we have been searching for and we will visit Haxton Manor again soon.

The love and care put into the restoration of this home is evident throughout. We enjoyed looking through the photo albums that document the restoration, and reading the newspaper articles to learn the history of this wonderful home. Buffy is a most enthusiastic hostess with a flair for making everything beautiful and welcoming.
