After a long day driving from Helena to Salt lake iwas was glad we had arrived in town. First of all had a hard time finding the place, not marked very well. Once arriving at the place found the office locked and another couple waiting for someone to answer their numerous phone calls as they had reservations also. I realize that we had arrived on the 4 th of July but on later observation the person that came was a resident manager. Took him about 40 minutes to arrive. He said he was unaware of the arrivals. Got us all checked in and I went to check the rooms....I had booked two as I was traveling with my four children, I opened the first room which was on the main floor and there were ants swarming the entranceway. The room itself appeared somewhat clean but there were so many ants on the entryway it was questionable whether the place was actually cleaned or not. I did go up to the suite above to check if it was any better, I was curious. Of course it also had the same problem so many ants it looked like they had taken up residence. I went down and caught up with the manager before he disappeared again explained my concerns, and he said he had been told the place was cleaned and he went to look. I don't think he believed me. He came out stated he would deal with it, he cleaned it himself. While we were waiting we went to have supper and when he was finished he brought the keys across the street to me. Went and checked the room again on first look it appeared to be fine, I got the boys settled and by the time my daughter and I got down to our room the ants had returned, not as many, I was very upset but it was 9 pm and everyone was tired and there were not as many they didn't appear to be in the bedroom so my daughter and I bunked together. In the morning on check out the boys room was starting to get a few ants in it, and our room still had ants at the doorway. I told them at the desk and wasn't looking for anything free or anything but it really wasn't acknowledged that there was a problem, not happy I would not stay there again, and would recommend they take better care of their rental suites. It was a pretty property and spacious suites but quite a disappointment with their attitude towards cleanliness and punctuality.

We were going to SLC for a family trip and wanted a one bedroom. We arrived during a light snowstorm which covered the property in a blanket of snow. Quite the joy for a SoCal family! The staff was friendly and helpful with tips or suggestions. These are renovated apts that they rent out for short term hotel stays, so we had a full (but small) kitchen and dining table + the living room. It was very clean and nicely furnished...complete setup including dishes, silverware, dishwasher, and best of all, washer/dryer. My only complaint was that the door to the balcony didn't lock, so we couldn't let our small kids sleep in the living room sofabed. I was afraid they would fall so my husband and I had to sleep on it. It SO sucked! After 1 nt, my neck hurt for days. Meanwhile, our kids got to sleep in the nice comfy bed. Other than that, the place was a great value - nice, clean, comfortable, and easy location off the freeway.

The rooms were nice, and clean. The breakfast spread was pretty good- no rotation on offerings for the weekends, and also no waffle iron (usually a staple any more), but they had great oatmeal. We were headed to Snowbird and needed to print the lift tickets that I bought on Liftopia, the hotel computers were beyond slow and I couldn't even get the internet to come up. The manager let me use their computers, still wasn't able to pull it up or print. He was nice, gave me a dollar to go to Kinkos to print it, but this whole problem delayed us by an hour. If you are flying (or bought some sort of document you need to print to go to an attraction), print your boarding passes before you stay here- it probably won't work to print them at the hotel. The location is nice, but very few things are walkable, it's still a few blocks off from the trolley and from downtown area.

I wasn't sure that this place was a good choice when I booked it as it had alot of mixed reviews. It was way better than I expected - we had a full size apartment for 53 bucks a night!! Very safe neighborhood and all the food and shopping you could ask for within walking distance. There is a very nice park about a half mile away that has a running path along the river. The rooms are clean and the bed is so comforable!!!! I'm not sure what the problem is with the staff being rude, there's one person in the office to check you in and there's no room service or maid service. I went to the office for coffee maker packets and they were very nice. It's a fully stocked apartment so you really don't need "staff" anyway. I will stay here again. Try Moochies for a cheese steak!! UNBELIEVABLE !!!
