After a 9 hour flight, to be greeted by a smiling front of house who was full of cracking information made our first evening nice and easy

Well worth it

We took our kids on a trip to Lagoon and Temple Square. Check-in was smooth and felt very welcome. The hotel we stayed in the first night of our trip was so awful that none of us slept well. The two nights at Comfort Inn were practically heaven! We liked the beds even better than our own bed at home! The room was clean and the housekeeping staff went out of their way to help us and make us comfortable. The included breakfast was mostly breads or pastries and beverages, though there were make-yourself waffles and biscuits and gravy both days. The food was cleared out around 8:30, though, so don't be late or you won't eat. Overall, great place to stay!

We stayed there as part of a Tours4fun bus holiday. We decided to leave the tour at this point because the driver scared us. So there we were 800 miles from what would have been our final destination which was San Francisco and we needed sanctuary and time to make alternative arrangements. The night receptionist Bret and his colleague Fish, the maintenance chief who was still at work late in the evening, were excellent. They provided us with Amtrak phone numbers, a room for the following day and excellent advice. It was just what we needed and we're extremely grateful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and far better than we had anticipated. The hotel is well located for a free tram ride into the city centre and we spent a most enjoyable but unexpected day in the city. The following evening we enjoyed the manager's social, free wine and excellent pork in the convivial hands of the restaurant manager, Darrell. Later that night they called a cab for us and we were on our way. If ever we needed a port in a storm this was it and we are truly grateful to the staff of this fine and reasonably priced establishment. Well done and thanks.

I recently visit SLC, Utah for a convention and stayed at the downtown Comfort Inn. This place was nice, clean, and the included breakfast had a bit of everything for everyone from yogurt to biscuits and sausage/gravy.

I was there for 5 days and really enjoyed my stay. Six blocks from Salt Palace Convention Center (good for walking exercise with comfortable shoes). The second shift host "James" was very helpful, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about the areas around the Comfort Inn. I would stay here again if I have the chance to visit SLC again.
