First when one of the couples in our party arrived at the Inn, there was no one there. They had rented a car which needed to be returned and wanted to just drop off their luggage. They ended up having to ask the car rental place to guard their luggage while they walked around for two hours before the rest of us arrived. We also called the Inn during this time to see what the problem was and no answer. All of this left us a little anxious as to whether we would even have a place to spend the night. When we finally got to check in, the desk clerk had a little difficulty understanding that we were wanting to put two rooms on one credit card. She also made an issue out of requiring photo ID for the charge....do people really make reservations in other peoples names in other states for rooms and then charge them?? To get ice, you had to call the front desk, which many times no one answered. Then when we went to get ice, we were told that the area was staff only. Well, if you can't get staff, what are you supposed to do???
For three mornings, we had the same breakfast. Granted, the ham and cheese croissant was quite delicious...a little variety would not have hurt anything. We felt that they specialized in wedding night one night stays. So it wasn't necessary to change the menu!
