“Basic no nonsense room”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2011

We stayed here because the price was right and it was close to downtown and we were too tired to look around. The room smelled awful, but it was clean, except for stained carpet. The bedding was old, but clean. No coffee pot in the room, but free coffee in the lobby. I was concerned with scruffy looking people hanging around in the parking lot, and at the side of the building, and also there seemed to be a lot of young people checked into the motel. My concerns disappeared when I saw that the motel had a security guard on the grounds for the night, so it was very quiet and secure for the evening.

Room Tip: Check the room first to make sure you can handle the smell. The windows don't open.

“Clean & fair price as always”

You can always count on Motel 6, from what I have experienced, and this is no exception. You pay for a clean, simple room and that is what you get. They provide soap andplenty of towels, and there is free coffee in the lobby in the morning. There is a pool. The hotel is far enough from the busy road that you will get a good night's sleep. Nice staff, and wifi worked great ($2.99 extra). Mc Donalds and Denny's are nearby for food.

i stayed here cause it close to downtown somtimes you get good room other time you get the cheapest smelliest smoking rooms. also its like partien place for young people, they trash the place and drink in rooms so its kinda messed up. i wouldnt reccomend it to family who wants get nice rest, feel comfortable i'd look elsewhere.

“Icky”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 February 2011

This place is gross, but you get what you pay for. The guy at the front desk was nice enough, but our room was nasty. Giant pee stain on the bed, soaked through all the blankets to the mattress. Gave us a new room, but it was hard to get that image out of my mind.

“Absolutely get what you pay for”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2011

Went to SLC for Sundance this year and decided to spend less on the hotel and more on the movies. Wasnt expecting a whole lot seeing as how we only stayed 5 nights and spent $289 while every other surrounding hotel was $600+. We got what we paid for. A room with 2 beds, a shower, a toilet and a small tv thats pretty much it. They cleaned our room everyday, gave us plenty of towels and being so small and boring it made us want to get up and get out each day. This is NOT luxury living by any means so if your looking for quality dont stay here. (They dont provide shampoo/conditioner, tissues) If you can rough it and save the money then this is your place. **Important note i would want to know about is the linens and bed. Very crappy. We went to the local Target and bought our own blankets bc I was afraid to use the one provided** The bed was my only complaint. And the room did have a weird smell but nothing i couldnt ignore. The best part about it is probably the location- located near everything.
