Whenever we have to fly, we love to stay at this hotel. They let you leave your car for a week at no charge if paying for your room. The hot breakfast is always delicious. They are about a five minute drive to the airport. It's great if you belong to choice privileges and can add up your points by staying here.

Comfort Suites at Salt Lake City Airport

This is a very well managed motel about 3 to 4 miles from the SLC airport and about the same distance from downtown.
We stayed one night at the beginning of our trip and 3 nights at the end. The desk clerks do an excellent job of check-in and check-out. Any questions asked were promptly addressed. My wife was bothered by traffic noise from the freeway on the first night of our second stay and asked for another room. The request was immediately addressed and we moved in the morning before leaving for the day. Both rooms were clean and very well organized. The full breakfast was average and nicely presented.
We had a king room and another with two queens. Both were very well maintained. The king room had 2 nightstands with lamps on each. This is important for bedtime readers like us. We too often find lamps on only one side of the bed. There was a small couch with another reading lamp and a work table with a lamp. It also had a coffee table, microwave, frig and a flat screen TV. There was lots of walk around room. Both rooms had beautiful artwork with local scenes.
The queen room had similar furnishings but included two sinks. The sinks in both rooms were outside the bath area, which we both prefer. The baths had lots of large towels and new soaps were put out every day. The second room was a bit warm at night, so we left the AC on all night. It ran very quietly and never did cause any problem with sleeping. This is unusual as many motels have very noisy air conditioners that can’t be used while asleep.
The motel has several vans used to transport guests to and from the airport. They are clean and comfortable.
There are several restaurants within walking distance of the motel. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay near the airport and not that far from downtown Salt Lake City.

We stayed two separate nights at this facility, one coming into and one leaving Salt Lake City. We enjoyed our stay because the hotel was neat, clean and quiet. It offers a free shuttle to and from the airport; it has a wonderful and free continental breakfast, and the staff is helpful. Clean, quiet, comfortable, helpful. What more can we say. We'd stay here again. That's the ultimate in recommending a place to stay.

My family has stayed here many times. For what you pay it is good value. Rooms are reasonable clean and large. It is obviously close to the airport and is only minutes from downtown via West Temple. Also - they will let you leave your car here for extended periods if you book a room on your return. This is a real money saver for airport parking. The only complaints I have are that the pool seems poorly maintained and there are really no dining options within walking distance.
